How to install?

These work great. We have lots of power outages where we live and these were recommended by our appliance repair man. Our new refrigerator ice maker quit working after we had a power outage. Evidently the newer refrigerators have a computerized motherboard board that is sensitive to power outages. We had a surge protector on our refrigerator but it wasn’t enough to protect the motherboard. Since then our power has gone out again and these new protectors work great in protecting our appliances.

I have a small solar panel setup. When there isn't enough sun or battery power, the solar unit switches back to the grid. This causes a drop in the power for a sec, causing the compressor in my fridge and deep freezer to lock up. You can hear the overload clicking in and out until the compressor finally balances out. This device prevents that by causing a 3 min. delay allowing the compressor to stabilize before reapplying power. So far, it works fantastic. Very happy that it works as advertised.

Great product works wonderfully, we had wet snow, many trees on power lines, power outages on and off, and brownouts, these units went into standby-by protecting my refrigerator and washer ( within the recommended amperage load ) while power on and off was going on and during brown outs
