I bought these boards to make table signs for my sister-in-law’s baby shower and they worked out perfectly! Chaulk markers are of good quality. The board holders have two different slots in them so you can choose if you want your sign facing completely upright, or slightly slanted which I love. Recommend for party planning table signs for sure!! 😊

The white marker that comes with writes nicely on the black and erases with a damp cloth. I use when hosting - at my home bar for cocktail combos “help yourself” suggestions and to label some food items in the serving buffet line. Highly recommend.

Loved these signs for my wedding. I used them for food tables and the gift table. They can be used vertically or horizontally, and the wooden piece has two slits so they can be directly upright or at an angle. They were affordable, easy to use, and look great. No complaints here!

I've gone through several display boards while serving meals for 300+ people and this is far better than any I've used. I could see online that the board had that plastic sort of coating and in my experience chalk does NOT write on those. Chalk writes beautifully on this with ease! Does not come with chalk, for some reason I thought it did, but no worries chalk is cheap. In one picture I am showing that I was able to wipe off the chalk and markers but I had to use a damp cloth with the markers. Time will tell if only a damp cloth is needed after it sits all day. On other boards I've had to use that "special white cleaning sponge" you can buy in the cleaning section to scrub off the chalk marker shadow that's left behind, but so far it doesn't need it. My preferred chalk marker shows up bright and cleans off easier, the set that it came with is nice and bright for most of the colors, the white is not very bright and the purple is very dark and can only be seen from an angle. Don't know why I thought of this but I don't think the cut edge of the board would survive getting very wet, it would probably swell up if soaked, but a small amount of care will keep that from happening. I mean, who would submerge their board in water, right? But if anyone is wondering, there you have it. I noticed other comments that the stands look used. I don't think that is the case, it's just the type of wood that shows up scuffs easily and I am sure that happens just from manufacturing and packing, it gives it a slightly distressed look that is not bad. I absolutely love that I can remove the board to write on it and change the position from portrait to landscape, stand up straight or leaning back. I also much prefer the soft rag that came with it than the sponge shown at purchase. I am pleasantly surprised over this set and highly recommend! Hope this exact set is still around when I need another!

I use these along with the chalk markers to make place settings names cards for dinners. Also used to identify food dishes when we have a lot of company. Sturdy product. Definitely recommend!

I purchase this to use to be able to write the notes to the elvesIt makes it easier and it's less easy to recognize my handwriting. Owen it was a great price too
