This is working well to soundproof a closet wall, the wall exposed to the room. I am using it on a wall that is 9x6, in combination with another different value pack of about the same quality. This would probably be best for the reflective wall in front of your mic, if you are doing some home recording. These are not sound proofing but sound dampening. These may not work for home audio recording set-up depending on your sound levels in your home / studio space. I am using them to have less sound enter and exit a closet that is set-up as a mini-shrine area (mantra recitation), and also for some light audio recording. They work for that purpose. I only have to worry about one exposed wall as the others are backing to other storage closets. I am using this particular panel on the area with the greatest sound leak, overlapping the door jam of the closet wall. This would need a great deal more density or thickness to be sound proofing. If I were recording podcasts and had a noisy household or studio, these would likely not be enough no matter how many you were to purchase. If you have a quieter household or studio space this may be the value solution that will work for you. These are a value solution.

My Husband had been saving up egg crates to use as a sound barrier for his new office. The more I stared at them piled up in the corner, the more I was like no. I got him these foam sound panels and the look pretty good. So much better than some boring gray egg cartons. I feel these Jdejiela panels also offer much more sound proofing than the egg crates could and certainly look more stylish and professional.

Took some time once out of the package to take correct shape, but no worries. I used it in a small area so I didn't have sound coming in and it works well for that. No complaints about how easy it is to use or setup. Good solution to reduce noise.

This comes bent numerous times and vacuum sealed. When i popped it open and let it "air" out for 3 days. certain parts stayed crushed. the cutting was sub par where they did not match size correctly. Nothing i did would "fatten" them up making them look horrible up ona. wall. I ended up cutting them down to smaller sizes and used them in other spaces. Defeats the reason i got them. Sorry hard pass. better options for the price

My son is making a small area to use as a voiceover recording studio. He wanted to try different materials to see which worked best for him. He said this one does its job but isn't as easy to install as the others he tried. It's too heavy for softer adhesives to install in a temporary manner but if you're planning on a permanent installation, a heavier adhesive would work. He ended up screwing it in but that was a bit tricky, too, because the material would get caught up in the threads. He said despite the install issues, he would still recommend it because it worked well enough once it was in place.
