THIS PRODUCT IS A TOTAL SCAM. THE SEEDS NEVER SPROUT. I BOUGHT ALREADY FIVE HUNDRED SEEDS, PLANTED THEM WITH FERTILIZER BUT THEY NEVER SPROUT.

I'm so hadlppy the seeds came quickly and after 3 weeks I got successful germination on my first batch of planted seeds. Just planted the rest and can't wait to see the results.

based on the reviews here, I was thinking this was not going to be positive but tried anyway. Happy to report the seeds ALL (100) are growing. My terrarium is chockful of bamboo sprouts. I should say we reside in Las Vegas Nevada, so climate here is hot and dry and good for this product. Now I just need to know what to do next. Very Happy with this purchase.

I come from a multi-generational family of farmers who raise crop for food, profit, etc. We planted 88 of the 100 in a fairly wet/moist year round area of our property with fair amounts of shade and sunlight. The other 12/100 was our control group that we planted in small pots and had more control over sun exposure and water. The product claimed around 75% germination. We had 0/100 germinate. Control group and natural growth failed to come up. It’s been 6 weeks since planting.

I am giving this a 3 star based on how easy it was to find, deliver, and instructions on how to start these seeds. Unfortunately I think I received dud seeds, they haven't even started to sprout, and I planted them following the instructions. One possibility as to why is that I was sent the wrong seeds for our region.

None came up and we did exactly what the package said. We even gave it extra time to come up. We didn't plant them till April 15, 2023 in containers in a 80 degree environment.

A few reviews were negative, so I was pessimistic. The envelope arrived in a respectable time. I grew a few separate batches of both giant bamboo and black bamboo (Same company), to see if they would grow. With the first batch, I followed the instructions on the packet. Unfortunately, I could not get any to grow. So, with the second batch, I used a few suggestions I found through some google searches. One suggested soaking the seeds in warm water for 2 days (I believe the instructions called for a 24 hour soak) I had to regularly pour warm water (about 80-90 degrees F) into the small cup I used for soaking, since the water would cool quickly. I would warm the water 2-3 times per day. After that, I put a few seeds into a slightly larger pot than I used for the previous batch, using the same type of soil. I watered them every day. After about 4 weeks I began to see some small sprouts, and a few days later could tell they were bamboo and not weeds. I read the germination rate was around 20-30% per batch of seeds, which is consistent with these seeds. I look forward to planting and experimenting.

I followed the directions and it is now one month. No growth whatsoever. There is no way to contact the seller and you certainly can't send back seeds. i would give it 0 stars if that was an option. I spent the extra money on the soil they recommended also...still no growth. have it in a special room with sun...still no growth. Waste of money
