This is a good pitcher with a strong, molded handle (unlike the same size Brita pitcher). I like that the tip has a cover (again, better than Brita). However, there is 1 flaw - the item description says that the countdown timer records actual number of fills. However, it is a countdown timer for days. It is preset for 35 days. The pitcher holds 10 cups of water so if you fill it one time a day on average, it should last 60 days per the typical filter so you may need to reset the timer once after 30 days.

The filter is filled with 97 percent silicone beads and three percent activated charcoal(yes I cut one open). And no you can not use brita filters in this. I have tried, so the advertising is misleading. When I put the brita filter in and filled it, you could see water running down the outside of the filter from the filler tank down into the drinkable water. So please do not waste your money of time on this.

This purchase replaced my older Brita pitcher. The size is the same (10 cup) but the newer one is streamlined and lighter. This is a nice replacement

Exactly what we needed. Quality container, easy to clean, slim design that takes up minimal space in the refrigerator. Can be a bit heavy if completely filled. Very happy with the price and quality of this product. Would recommend to others.

Water now tastes like it should-fresh mountain spring water which is exactly what I wanted - all about the taste. Happy with my purchase. Easy to clean and take care of. Happy to also serve my guests instead of buying bottled water for them.

Works great to eliminate chlorine odor and taste. Makes water taste and smell better. Less expensive than Brita, but does the same thing. I have two of these pitchers and I use them to filter all tap water that goes into my aquarium. I have very pampered goldfish. I also drink directly from the aquarium. Haha. Just kidding. I drink water from the pitcher.
