These are absolutely great as a warning device, and they're going to work perfectly for the circuit I made up for my friend's boat. I'm going to use one of these along with a float switch in the bilge to detect high water. Combined with some wiring, a relay and a momentary-off push button switch, I created a lock-on relay circuit with the float acting as the "on" and the push button the "off". I also have an "arm" switch because I'm pretty sure with how hard his boat slams into waves, the poor float switch is going to be getting activated every five seconds when at speed. But, since we then stop (so I can pick up my vertebrae and he can start fishing) it'll be nice to have an alarm in case we start to, you know, sink. Again.

Small indicator piezo buzzer. Red LED light indicator lamp and a piezo buzzer in a single small single device for control panels. This was available in multiple voltages, 12 volt and 24 volt. Mine came as 12 volt ac/dc and came as a set of 2. The price made it a decent value for the cost. The piezo buzzer is intermittent and in a loud environment, would be difficult to hear.

Installed these in my race car for Oil pressure & Alternator "fail safety" idiot lights. They are highly visible and can be heard through my helmet (tho not yet tried while running).

We dropped our "death star" landline after they wouldn't fix our DSL line (yes, I know it was old tech, but not many other choices) so several of our phones became obsolete. We still had one in the house and one in our shop building along with 4 perfectly good wires in between so I wondered what I could do with them.Found out from YT how easy it was to create an intercom with the old phones so I did. That was good but I needed a signaling device to go with it. After some research, I was able to create a circuit using the remaining two conductors, common ground, two 555 circuits (for flashing) and two of these LED lamp/buzzers. If someone in the house presses a button near the phone, both the local lamp/buzzer and the one in the shop starts flashing/buzzing calling for someone to pickup the phone (and visa-versa).While the "buzz" is high pitched and about the same as a smoke alarm, we've gotten use to it so a person in the house or the shop can signal the other to pick up the phone. At any rate, the combo lamp/buzzer draws little current and works just fine. This item would work great for any project that needs both a visual and audible alarm.

I mounted this on my street legal golf cart because the turn signals do not auto-cancel and I end up driving down the road looking like a complete idiot and pissing off other drivers. It works great but my wife complains its too loud for her. Doesn't bother me and I never leave the turn signal on any longer. super easy to install
