I used this to repair several broken battery candles that the battery door was broken and would not stay shut. Cut to the right length and add a couple small screws and it is better than new. Not as handy to replace batteries, but better than trashing the candle.

As you can see, the stock I recieved was short in both length (7.9") and width (0.79"). It was also slightly thick at 13/64".Otherwise it's good quality, solid brass bar

I make keepsake boxes and wanted to try this for my splines and it worked great but at 8$ a bar witch was enough for one box I think I'll keep using wood.
