Well after some delays I'm back.. and for this item which was actually nabbed for a part of a gas and oil display/collection in a man cave.. its now been tested for its original job as well. A friend of mine has a proper setup on his farm for fuel.. He tested that aspect for me and he simply said "if I didn't have one I'd swipe yours!" LOL (Knowing him that means it would be functional and good enough for him to buy if needed)The auto off sensor is easily visible right near the edge of the outlet and the mesh filtering for the inlet is not near the main threads as pictured in the listing.. but is actually farther up into the handle just before the actual valve action. I don't think that would make any real difference for use other than possibly be harder to get out foreign objects if you somehow managed to get such into the system. (see pic)The item itself is a nice finish and would do actual work duty for many years I would think. Its not made of cheap flimsy material though its not as heavy as the actual antique ones my friend has in his mancave. As for display use.. the plastic is just basic flexible rubberized plastic and could be removed in one piece I think though I don't know why such would be needed. The rest is basic aluminum form the look/feel with some rivets.also given its not marked at all for the materials one idea we had of turning it into a beer tap on a hose is questionable.. so not likely to happen. But hey it can make for a nice addition for anyone that has a gas/oil collection going on and w/o breaking the bank esp if nabbed on sale.

Would not allow for adequate flow of fuel. I had this paired up with a new 25 gpm pump and it was too slow to fill a large truck tank in a reasonable time. Also if I had to fill a tank that was several feet higher than the transfer tank pump it wouldn’t release enough pressure to get the pump out of bypass and wouldn’t properly flow fuel.

I bought this to replace my $300 fill rite 1” nozzle with multiple issues and couldn’t be happier. Works as it should.

I ordered this fuel nozzle to help with filling my tractor. I use a 12V pump to fill from 5 gallon cans (see pic for complete setup). This method avoids having to lift the heavy full fuel cans to the top of the tractor hood where the tank fill is located. It only takes about 2 minutes to completely pump out a 5 gallon can.I inspected the nozzle very carefully before putting it together with a hose and swivel. I noticed there was a piece of manufacturing debris stuck under the auto shut-off tube. It looks like it’s the piece remaining from punching the hole in the nozzle tube to put the auto shut-off tube. It came out easy with a pair of needle nose pliers but I strongly suggest you check yours before using it.Overall, it’s working well. There’s a screen inside the nozzle and my only complaint is the fuel is discharged very aerated. It’s not a big deal but just pumping with no nozzle the fuel has no foam or air in it. This nozzle aerates it pretty good and I’m thinking it’s from that screen. Basically, it does just like your kitchen or bathroom faucet with the screen they put on the end. I’d rather have the screen, though, to ensure nothing gets into my tractor’s fuel system that shouldn’t.

I was expecting a 50/50 as to if it would work as good as the original that came with the pump. Even though it is generic and has no labeling it is probably better quality than the one that came in the box with the pump. Only problem is that there is no way to hook it into the original pump but, that is not their fault. I just throw it to the side of the toolbox and good to go.

I bought 2 of these and neither one of them worked. They will pump fuel but the automatic nozzle does not work, and will not shutoff.

I have a number of tractors that have ~50 gallon fuel tanks so standing at the farm pump and having to watch the tank as things fill to ensure that I turn it all off at the right time is frustrating and a waste of time I could be greasing the tractor or checking oil and getting ready to work. This nozzle is fantastic. It has a good flow of fuel, the handle is easy to set for auto fill at a speed that is comfortable for the tank, and best of all when the tank is full the nozzle clicks just like at the fuel station and stops filling. Certainly, it would be advised to be close and keep an eye on things, however, in using this product with my excavator, dozer, and a few tractors I have had absolutely zero issues with the auto shutoff and the fill rate is excellent. This fuel handle is HIGHLY recommended. I just wish it had a swivel on it as well -- I will likely add that to the end of the nozzle to protect my hose where it connects to the nozzle.

I’ve got this fuel nozzle hooked up to a portable 12V fuel pump from transferring fuel between tanks. Auto shut-off feature is nice and works just like the gas station pumps. Unit appears to be very well built. It works exactly like ti should with no leaks. The only issue I had was that my nozzle arrive in a fuel soaked cardboard box reeking of gasoline. I’m not sure if this is residual from factory testing, or if I received a returned unit. The nozzle was wrapped in plastic, but had torn a small hole near the end of the nozzle where it was rubbing against the cardboard. There was about a teaspoon of liquid fuel inside the bag with the rest soaked into the cardboard box. Not a hug deal, I’m just glad it was packaged by itself, or else everything else in my order would have smelled of gasoline.Packaging issues aside, I am very happy with it.
