Strong magnets but not fully waterproof. In a dunk test a little bit of water entered but never filled up.

The description of these boxes describe them as being good for hiding things on the underside of a car. As strong as the dual magnets are, I would be very hesitant to attach these to a car. One good sized pothole and these will be gone. However, for hiding things around the house these are awesome. For small valuables that you want to hide somewhere safe you, can stash these under the bed attached to the frame, behind a dresser, behind the fridge, or anywhere there is metal.

Was surprised at the actual size, they are large but they are perfect for the larger key fobs and having the interior be padded is really good so they don’t receive any damage by vibration in the case while on the road (if you use it in yr car like I do)
