Very poor quality. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. There’s glue all over from someone being sloppy when they put it together. It’s not all red oak as advertised. You can see that clearly when looking at it. There is chips and gouges all over it and the bottom piece is cracked on both newel posts. Because of the miss matched wood pieces you would not want to stain this with anything to bring out the natural beauty because it will look terrible.

Shipping was absolutely amazing. The product is beautiful too. The only bad thing about it, is that there is glue all over the accent pieces. I have to scrape all the glue off if I’m going to stain this post. I didn’t anticipate that. I guess it would be nice if they cleaned up the glue before they sent it. That’s my only complaint.
