Beautiful and lightweight. The frame is plastic and does not have glass. It's more like a thin acrylic sheet. Has a hook for both horizontal and vertical hanging.Hope they last and don't decompose as most plastic items do in the tropics.

The picture frames arrived earlier than expected and were packed very well. Not a scratch or mark was on any of them. The corners were protected with thick styrofoam. The protective film on the plexiglass was easy to remove, and there are plenty of hooks on the back to hang the picture, as well as hold it in place. The plexiglass is thin but strong, and a great alternative to breakable glass. One thing to note are the measurements-the entire frame measured 16 3/4 x 20 3/4; Matte was 10 1/4 x 13 5/8; Picture size 15 1/2 x 19 1/2. I thought the picture size would be 16x20. I was putting a 3-piece canvas in these frames, and while it worked out beautifully, each canvas was exactly 16x20 and I had to trim them a little to fit the frame (I didn’t need the matte). I do still recommend these frames though and would purchase them again because they are so well made and arrived in perfect condition.

Very nice frames. I didnt realize it didnt have real glass because I did not read it. But I went back and they do a great job of explaining it is plexiglass. So if that matters to you they are plexiglass instead of glass over the picture. The frame is well made and there is a film over the plastic to peel off so it is protected while being shipped. Looks like real glass and lightweight. Would buy again.
