Tip for tuning your new ukulele:
Are you finding your new ukulele always needs tuning every time you want to play it? This is really common, particularly with new strings. Nylon strings take a certain amount of stretching before they settle down and hold their tune.
How to solve: tune it to the desired note, then pull up on the string over the sound hole to give it a bit of a stretch. That'll take it down about 2 whole notes, tune it back up and repeat until it stays in tune. A lot of folks who maybe aren't used to stringed instruments, especially nylon strings, get frustrated, but don't worry, these are decent strings, they just need a good stretch!

Our 2 year old loves it, and it’s held up to lord of banging around, but their is no where to secure the strap. Also the stings are much different thicknesses and seem like they aren’t from the same set so it’s hard to tune. But over all very cute for the price.

I am extremely pleased with this ukulele.Besides being a fun novelty item - I think I might be able to learn to play - it comes with instructions, a string tuner with extra strings and a strap for carrying - the carrying case is sturdy and everything fits neatly in the caseThe only problem I see is that the instructions are a little hard to understand but I think I will check out videos on you tube.This would make an excellent gift for a young child who is just starting to learn it but i think it’s perfectly suitable for anyone of any age.As a matter of fact I bought this because a friend told me she just purchased one and we are going to give it a try.I don’t think you will be disappointed-It’s a good deal for the price
