Wow, so small, much little. Kettle has a minuscule pour spot. and you will have to pour carefully and slowly, as the lid does NOT have a latch or snap type closure. So if you pour too much or too steeply, the lid will come off. The camping mugs are like Baby sippy cups; maybe 6 oz. Not an 8 oz cup like a cup is supposed to be; and of course no where close to a 12 or 16 oz Mug, like modern day coffee drinkers prefer. Plus, the cups are NOT insulated at all, so your beverage will get cold fast.The only good thing so far, is that I was looking for a large volume kettle, so 2.5 liter should be fine!

I ordered this set to have when we are out camping and even for some of our hunting trips. Overall, I would say that this set should work fine as long as you are sort of careful with it. I say this because it is made of lighter weight metal which is nice for carrying but also makes easier to damage. I would also suggest taking precautions when you are cooking with it because I am not sure how well it would handle higher temperatures. I am thinking when we used to put things on the edge of the coals while the flames are higher, that might not work so well with this type of a set up. If you are using it on a cooking grate or an outdoor grill it should work fine as long as the flames/heat isn't to high. The cups are very convenient with their little fold in handles but they are metal so be careful so you don't burn your hands! The big test will be when we get them out and give them a good test and if something comes up and they don't work or something breaks, I will be sure to come back and update my review. As it stands now, I am going to go with four out of five stars for a couple of reasons. First, the reasons I mentioned earlier, and I want to add that having a plastic knob on the kettle lid might be an additional problem when working with higher temperatures. Secondly, I think that the price point is stretched out about as far as you should be expected to pay for a set like this - in fact you might find comparable sets at a big box store for slightly less. With those points made, if you don't mind them, you will probably like the set.

Not sure why the handle or button on the lid is the way it is, pretty useless once the kettle is hot.

I grabbed this camping kettle for our weekend trips with the family. We love to hike and camp, but mornings without coffee or tea are tough! The compact size and lightweight build made it an easy choice to toss into our gear.Experience with the Product: It boils water fast and holds enough for everyone’s morning coffee. The collapsible handles on the cups were a nice touch, and they fit perfectly in the carrying bag. I was impressed with how sturdy it feels for something so lightweight. We used it during a few picnics too, and it's become a must-have for our camping setup.Conclusion: If you're looking for something light and efficient for camping, this kettle is perfect. Highly recommend for fellow outdoor lovers!

This is a high quality and light weight camping kettle and cup set. I have used it a few times while camping and it works great. It heats my water quickly on a camp stove. The size is great for 1 or 2 people. The value for what you get is on par with something I’ve previously bought from REI.
