5 stars looked good and came in fast, unfortunately I ordered the wrong one but at the same time no hassles returning, it did plug in the 3.5 hard drive had and lit up but just wrong product. Not sellers fault all me.

Laptop motherboard died on me. Had pictures and videos on hard drive I wanted to recover. Was able to connect my old hard drive and acces it on my new laptop with this plug. Worked great

Is it as fast as they say, I don't know but it did what I needed on my older Panasonic Toughbook. Is it malware free, no hidden hacker chip, don't know. Some USB cables have been discovered with hacking tech from China, this is from China, does it have hacking tech, I don't know, and I don't have anything they would want beyond processing bandwidth. Overall, it did what I needed, gain access to old drives to recover old data.
