Chucked them into the 100W laser to make them into 'wands'. Through cuts in some areas, surface cuts on others. Letting the laser do 'side' cuts made facets much like diamonds. Run the torch across the surfaces lightly made them crystal clear. Then we put it into the 10W to do some surface engraving. The last sale turned them into $350 and $400 'crystal' wands. From 'not for sale, just showcasing our abilities' into selling all 3 of them. Yeah, we'll take that as a win.

I 3d printed a few holders for these rods, and they work great to hold spools of my 3d filament. They are definitely strong enough and look good too. Or I am sure they will work great to hold your curtains or anything else you can dream up to use these for.
