There was slight "misty" corrosion on the surface (aluminum oxide maybe?) The thing is, after a light scrub from some abrasive pad it looked fairly good.Plugging it in gave me the fright of my life. The unit got nine sats nearly instantly INDOORS, in Alaska where I normally get NO GPS connection, even outdoors!I am more than pleased at what looks like a slightly sketchy GPS when compared to others I have purchased.The other brand I purchased also works well but these are cheaper.

Not anything like what's in the photo. Actual physical dimensions of what I got were 27x27 mm across the ground plane and 7mm total thickness. The ceramic antenna is 25x25 mm across and 5mm thick. 10cm (103mm) antenna cable.They work quickly with Ublox 6m chipset and lock 6-12 satellites very quickly, far quicker than smaller antennas. U.FL connector works and is tight. Not as bad as some of the other options out on Amazon. Check your dimensions if your fit is tight.For the price, not disappointed, but a simple ruler could would have saved me some tinkercad time. I'll fix the fit on the 3d prints.
