Seems to be good quality brass. The threads fit my 3/8 to 1/4 NPT flare fittings . Was a good value compared to hardware stores. Threads are well cut and brass is thick.

There are times when working with refrigerant lines that I need to either reduce the size fitting on my hose or increase the fitting size of my equipment to fit my hose. This converts a ¼” male flare to a 3/8” male flare. Does exactly what it is expected to do without leaks.
