2. Press reinforced wax ring flange on bowl outlet, extend flange away from bowl.
3. Set bowl in place and use body weight to compress wax. Twist bowl slightly to spread wax.

The product headline says extra thick, but they are more like "regular size thickness", or "barely thicker than normal".

These wax rings are a good replacement when you need them. Good to have on hand.

If you need a wax ring to place a toilet and seal the output this is a 3 pack. Good for new installations or having spares (for those unplanned Sunday afternoon plumbing issues). The drain is molded into the wax, and the wax ring is thick. Included are brass bolts, steel nuts and washers.

I purchased 18 of these and not able to use them. Too late to return them. The wax cracks and falls off of the ring. Waste of money.
