I have a bright green thumb. I've got one Acacia to germinate out of like 25 seeds. All varieties of methodology. When I read the reviews I just figured people were awful Gardeners but I was wrong. Keep your money. Not worth it.

For me personally I’ve had no growth from any of the seeds. I’ve tried several. It’s sad. I’ve heard these packs are a waste of money and so far it’s come true for me. I’m not the biggest expert by any means but everything else I’ve planted at least sprouts so I suspect it’s the seeds for at least one of the variety. You get like 5-20 seeds depending on the kind or size and like 10-15 kinds.

Did have some difficulty getting some seeds to germinate, however that's to be expected. Good amount of seeds to get started. Some trees have grown beautifully while other's grow but then die out. Possibly from overwater to incorrect soil so that would be on myself.

The seeds were clearly marked and appear to be fresh! There isn’t a pair of these varieties that germinate under the same conditions so it is wise to research each type of tree. Before you start doing anything… I got a notebook to help keep track. Unfortunately I won’t know if they are actually good until something happens, which could be months or longer in some cases, which would be too late to leave a review about the trees themselves but, alas! such is the modern art of bonsai!

Only 3 weeks in, I have around 10 Acacia sprouted, 12 Black Pine, 2 Japonica, 2 Wisteria. I am still waiting on the other species. It is true the instructions are practically non-existant.I soaked all my seeds in room temperature water from 24 hrs to 3 days. I planted in different soils. Indirect light all day. All the ones that grew were in poor, rocky/sandy soil with good drainage (but you have to keep it moist).Enriched soil with fertilizer grew zero so far!Note: that might just be me, and I certainly do not claim to have the formula for success. As I say in the title: patience and the right soil, I think

**Stratification is required for germination**This is a good variety of seeds. My batch of seeds seemed to be healthy, they don’t look desiccated. After soaking, most pine and spruce seeds sank to the bottom. (Which usually means that they are viable.)The individual seed bags aren’t resealable, which is inconvenient for me.The seeds are not labeled with their scientific name, so you don’t know the exact variety you are expending effort on.There is no information included on how to germinate the seeds. You have to do your research on each species. Most of the seeds in this kit need stratification which is important to note, but the kit doesn’t tell you that.(So if you plant them all at the same time, you will be disappointed.)Seeds are currently stratifying, I will provide germination updates in the future.

Wasted money and time on these. Followed the steps and not a single one sprouted.

These are for my wife. we do a lot of gardening and potted plants. The seeds were Very good looking. packaged smartly in air tight packaging. Ten packets .. well highlighted and marked. Generous seed count. I have seen seeds look like they were thrown in and dirty and broken. These seeds got me excited to look at. They all looked ' hand-picked ' and looked like they rated a . # 1 rating. This is a very good seller with a terrific product. I did a lot of looking and comparing. I am very glad I chose these. Looking forward to watching them grow here in Western ILLINOIS. Chris G.
