For the people saying these are way to thin to be cutting thick metal are very wrong! I used them to cut down my clothesline post that was 1/4 inch thick! Cut through them like butter! Yes, I was skeptical about them because they were so cheap because you usually get what you pay for. I was very wrong with this one! These worked great!

They work great for my purposes. Very happy with them and would buy them again.

I'm still on my 1st wheel and the way it is going, it will probably last the whole year! I mostly cut thin metal like ducts, but have cut through black pipe with this also. I probably average a few hours per week cutting. I'm sure there are some that use it more frequently and might have a different opinion. Anyway, this has been a great buy for me.

I needed these wheels to cut/shorten the steel legs on some outdoor furniture. I was concerned because I have a very old grinding wheel (circa 1960) that was passed down from my father that does not operate at very high RPMs. Understandably, it took a little longer but these wheels still worked great and made clean cuts.

These are advertised as a 5/8 arbor. The arbor cutout is actually 7/16. It fits on my grinder but my grinder has a raised area to center and support the cut-off wheel. At 7/16, the wheel fits over the spindle but is not properly supported. Reading all the reviews here, I'm betting this contributes to a lot of the early breakage reports.

These, and a cheapo (from HF) 'dry tile saw, cut the steel, top centerline of a 40' construction trailer in a few minutes. The aluminum sides were no challenge.Round blades are a lot easier than any straight saw I have used. They are the largest size I could find for this size saw. ...just do not let the blade twist.Jim

I just purchased a 55-gallon drum to be used as a burning barrel. I had to cut off the top and add air holes at the bottom. These wheels cut through the galvanized steel with no problem. There was very little wear on the disc after all this cutting.
