We got this to wrap our hot water heater, and it has vastly improved proved the retention of heat! We live in a high wind area, and it seems we always lose heat, but this insulation blanket has made a difference in how often the heater kicks on.

I have a very DIY front door on my cabin that's been letting a lot of cold air permeate through the thin wood. This insulation has been a great temporary insulator until I put a more permanent solution in place. Definitely recommend unrolling and letting it sit for a few days so it expands to its full size before installing.

This insulating foam roll is nice. It worked perfectly for me to wrap my hot water heater. It’s nice and thick and has a reflective material. It’s also nice for other things too like putting it on your garage door to help insulate as well.

I guess I must have a bigger water heater because it was a tight fit. easy to work around, easy to cut. In the long term this will save money, but I just wish it was a bit longer. Material seems to hold up.

I used this to insulate a small nook in my attic that was a serious heatsink. The best way to put it is that I have an aquarium that I was worried about getting too hot. After putting this stuff down, and putting down just a floor panel the temperature was cool enough within 24 hours that I was kind of finding myself worrying about the tank getting too cool. So it definitely made a difference in this case.
