Put some glue on one side only and you can remove the cover anytime wifout going through the hassle of scraping and if your fluid is “goot” pour it through a coffee filter and reuse it.

I wasn’t in the market for this gasket at the time but the price was right so I picked it up. When I did the differential fluid change in my garage this worked perfectly and I’ve had no leaks.
