ZERO Quality Control!This AC unit was reasonably easy to install. This is not he first mini split install I have done and I would say it was about the same level of complexity as those I have done previously.However, after installing, I found that the heating function didn’t work. Cooling works great but when set on max heat, it still blows only cold air and, after about two hours, stops running and presents an error code (which is not listed under the error codes section of the manual).I contacted the seller for support and they engaged with their engineering team who asked me a series of questions (always only responding once every day or two, in the middle of the night). Eventually they had me disassemble the outdoor unit and do some technical troubleshooting (testing resistance and voltage on internal components). Although that is a lot more than I would think most Amazon purchasers would feel able to do, I performed the testing. There was a loud buzzing noise coming from the 4-way reversal valve when it was trying to actuate and they determined that must be the problem.They sent me a new unit. I had to uninstall the first one and install the new one, after which, I had the exact same results. I went through the whole troubleshooting process again and then called my friend (a PhD engineer) to review the install and troubleshooting steps and testing results with me. He confirmed that my results were accurate and that the reversing valve on the second unit was also faulty.The sellers then sent me step-by-step instructions on replacing the reversing valve. This would require specialty equipment and involved removing and the soldering several pipe joints back in. I told them I don’t have the equipment for that job, nor was I qualified.The sent a THIRD outdoor unit.You guessed it! That unit had the identical problem…Eventually they agreed to refund my money. Now I have several non-functional mini split units to figure out what to do with, a lot of wasted time and energy, and I still need to order one that will actually work properly.I will say that the seller tried to work with me and I was impressed that they at least did send me replacement units without making it difficult in that regard.

Excellent set of instructions and very easy to install on my own. Only thing I would say is make sure you have a vacuum pump with a gauges and pump oil and you should be fine. Keeps my room at the perfect temperature and I can barely hear the thing run

I installed this Mini Split for a customer and I have to say I was very impressed with the quality and ease of installing this unit. Customer was on a budget and needed air/heat in new addition and this fit his budget. The Mini split was very affordable and once I was done installing: I had this unit heating up a 350 soft area with ease. I have to admit I made a mistake of assuming the filters were located under the main indoor panel....I was wrong. LOL. I sent seller a message and he was very quick to respond and kindly pointed out that the filter was located on top. Honest mistake. But really, over all this is worth every penny as it is affordable and easy to install. The costumer was very happy and I learned something new on this install. Enjoy and I highly recommend this mini split and this seller.

Install took about five hours by myself. Never installed a mini split before and I think it was really easy. You will need a vacuum pump and a hole saw to complete installation. I chose to use a stand to put the outdoor unit on so I could coil the excess line set under the unit instead of behind it. Works really well in my 600 sg ft garage. The heat warms up my space very well. Only tested the cooling side once and it was cold. Shipped FedEx Ground the next business day after purchase. Would buy it again.

[UPDATE 11/05/2024]When I received the indoor unit, I noticed some odd sheen damage to a large area of the front. It was very not noticeable at most angles, so I went ahead and installed it. Once I had it installed, I noticed that this area was quite a bit more apparent while walking past the unit. It looked like someone tried to clean an area of it with a scotch bright pad. I contacted the seller asking for a replacement of this front cover. Within a few days, I had the replacement. It only took a single message for them to quickly send me a replacement. I cannot say enough about the amazing customer service they provide. This has been a wonderful experience![ORIGINAL REVIEW]I purchased this item to cool and heat my backyard studio.I did not want to use my window unit anymore due to the noise and air leaks. The window units are never fully sealed in the window. As this small building is being turned into a streaming studio, I did not want the noise of a window air conditioner.The unit itself is the same as any other low-cost unit on the market. In fact, this same unit is sold under many different brands. Many of them costing more.Delivery of the 2 boxes was great except for a delay on the second box that was an issue with FedEx. The seller made this issue right as soon as I made them aware of it. Even offering to send a second unit out if the issue with the first one not being delivered on time was not resolved the next day. It was in fact delivered the very next day. This is not a review on the shipping, but I wanted to mention the level of customer service from this seller.Due to my physical limitations, it took 3 days to install as I have to take constant long breaks. I'm sure an able-bodied person could install this in a single day.I did not like the part that goes through the wall as it just would not work because the way it is designed, it does not fit behind the wall unit. I ordered a flanged kit which solved the issue. I suggest you do the same.I also ordered a cover kit for the lines. It looks so much better this way and protects the insulation on the pipes from sun damage.HEAT MODE: I was totally amazed how hot the air is coming out. It was 44F outside and felt like the air was coming from an electric heater. It's really impressive how well this heat pump works in heat mode. It's also crazy how cold the air coming from the outside unit is in this mode. The only way I could install the outdoor unit was with the fan blowing across in front of the door, and boy is it cold stepping out! It's a small cost to pay to have cheap warm heat inside the building.COOLING MODE: I ran it in cooling mode for about 30 minutes as the instructions say to do. It felt cold but it's not as apparent as the heat was. The temp inside the building was 64F and the air coming out was 50F. I'm not sure how accurate my temp sensor is, but both measurements were from the same sensor. I read you want to aim for 20F differential between the intake and exhaust air. Being only 44F outside, I'm thinking that had something to do with it. I'll update my review during the summer if it has an issue keeping up.SOUND LEVEL: The outside unit is right outside the window. I do not hear it at all from inside. I hear traffic go by, but not this. Even standing outside by it, you only hear the fan, when it's on turbo and a little bit from the compressor. I mean a little bit. It's barely audible. when in normal mode, it's even quieter. The inside unit is almost silent. It's not even in the same league as a window unit because the compressor is right in the window. The only sound the wall unit makes is the fan, but it's very quiet. It has a silent mode, and it sounds like it's off. Seriously I had to get up and put my hand in front of it to see if it was actually still on.Overall, this is a great unit for a very low price and great customer service. I do recommend buying a better designed through wall tube thing, but other than that it's great. I do recommend it.

The unit is easy to install and works wonderfully. Wiring it in is about the hardest part of the install.
