Very nice works well and is easy to install, but the control plate itself is not a fender original. It is slightly smaller than the pick guard if you care like I do you are going to be spending another 35 dollars.

I bought this to replace a faulty control plate in a Squier Jaguar Bass and it fit perfectly. I’d definitely recommend this for an upgrade.

Not a fan of the 2 vol 1 tone layout. Always liked stacked knob setups and this one is the cream of the crop as far I’ve seen. Really high quantity components and workmanship all around. Put this and of USA made 74’ Fender RI’s in a lovely MIM and I couldn’t be happier…Unless there was a 50% detente in the rotation of the pots. I’d be slightly happier if that were the case.

This is a custom ‘62 Jazz Bass build. Great stacked controls. Everything is ready to go just hook up the pickups and bridge ground connection. CTS pots. The volume/tone per each pickup provides a lot more tonal variation and takes a little more effort to dial in the sound you want, but worth the effort. This is the way the Jazz Bass was designed. MIM neck, Warmoth swamp ash brown-red-yellow burst, Seymour Duncan hot stacks, Dunlop strap locks. Straight, set to spec. Easy to play, looks great and sounds even better.

Should've bought it sooner. There are are a million jazz basses with the traditional control knob configuration and most jazz basses you see with these double stacked knobs are expensive American Fender RI or custom shop basses. Once I got passed the learning curve of soldering this was an easy install. The pots are double stacked on the underside but the average Fender control chamber can fit it. I like that they use full sized pots and not the tiny cheap ones found in the average Squire. Each pickup has independent volume with tone under it so independent tone control is cool and different from the millions first mentioned. The actual plate lines up perfectly with the screw holes and the existing soldering and wiring is neat and clean. Worth the price and my next Jazz build will definitely be having another one of these 920D double stacked control plates.

I purchased this item because I've always like the early 60's jazz bass controls. I wanted my jazz bass project to have the same control setup and I thought this item would save me some time so I jumped. Just got it today and wired it in exactly like the 920 custom schematic showed...pretty simple give most of the work was done already. I have to say it was a really impressive wiring job at that, really clean. Only one problem no sound, no output, nothing. I tested everything to see if the was a short, I even changed the batteries in my bench amp. The long and short of it is that it's going back ASAP. What a disappointment, I'll wire the controls myself. One star.... just because the wiring was so clean.Just received refund from Amazon after Sigler received my return. The refund process could not have been easier and Sigler Music couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Like a breath of fresh air, thank you Amazon and Sigler Music.

As a review said before mine did have a bug, they only problem was the cap was grounded to the other pot of the stack. So the ground was always hot with a hummmm, I reground the cap to the tone pot not the volume, and (both of the pots came that way) fixed the problem, now it sounds great, with black nlyon flatwounds, Yeah Baby!!! I almost sound like Mr. John Entwistle!!!
