This unit comes complete with a lock and custom cut drawer liner. no other manufacture that we know of takes the care to put a drawer liner in their product. The handle is clever in design. the ball bearing rails operate smoothly. We are dealers of a major manufacturer of rack drawers that sell for more than $300 and this is far superior.

I personally loved the draw in my rack, in-that it looked very nice, and that it is very practicalThat said, I found the tuck-away drawer handle to be a wonderful touch, in-that it helps in avoiding the cash register look, as well as breaking the presentation of a rack.Though as it turns out, and in my own case, the drawer had quality control issues, in-that the mounting brackets(and holes), were out of alignments, and to the point where forcing alignment would result in the drawer looking as though it was broken. In addition to this, and in-spite of forcing the brackets to align with the rackmount face, I then found the drawer brackets would return to their original crooked position over time, thus making it look badThat said, I am hoping this fabrication flaw was addressed and will try another unit, as I feel these are the best looking and most functional rackmount drawer solutions available at this time.

Love this drawer, the swinging handle is kind of a gimmick but I get some satisfaction every-time I use it. The overall weight is not too heavy either compared to other drawers I have bought. Fits perfectly in my bands IEM rack case.

The drawer itself is quite nice. It comes with a slip-resistant mat and two keys. The sliding mechanism is very smooth, the finish on the front is very nice. There is a grommet on the back of the drawer to accommodate any cabling you may run (to a modem, in my case). I don't care specifically about having a locking mechanism, so no real complaints on the lock, in fact, it has a nice ka-thunk when it closes and opens that's very satisfying. The only reason this is a 4 instead of a 5 is the handle. It does fold away, which is great, but I wish there was some retention on it. As it is, it rattles whenever my rack is moved, or if the fans on the server below get spinning a little too quickly. I've added a dampening pad between rack devices, personally. To fix this, I'd suggest adding a magnet latching system, so there's a little more push needed to open it initially. Another option could be replacing the rivet that the handle pivots around with a screw, then it could be tightened or loosened by preference. I'd pay another $10 or so for a nicer handle, even if it were sold separately.

Comes with a drawer mat. That’s a grand surprise.Purchased a 2u rackmount chassis with this to build my computer - but I almost want to modify this drawer for a 2u pc chassis. It seems so simple just looking at it.Has an excellent interior footprint. It has a cable management port in the rear. Two keys but apparently these keys are not universal. (They wont open a different ac infinity drawer) which is a problem if you own more than 1 drawer.Love the handle… It swivels in and out as required. Very smart, very flush when not in use.

There are cheaper options for rack drawers, sure. But this one has a hideaway drawer pull (if you're into that kind of thing) that swivels around super easy. It also has buttery smooth rails that make pulling and retracting the drawer an oddly satisfying endeavor. There's just enough grease in the bearings to keep things from moving on their own, but not enough to prevent you from pushing or pulling this drawer, fully loaded, with only one finger. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.Note: this drawer is mostly made of aluminum, so if you need steel for any reason (ex: magnets), look elsewhere. It comes with all necessary hardware, including the following:- fully assembled drawer/rail assembly- rack screws- cage nuts- non-slip drawer liner (like what you'd use in your kitchen drawer - literally the same foam mesh)- set of 2 keys- manualMy only minor complaint is that the drawer could have been a tiny bit deeper and still been fine in dimensions for 95% of all 4 post racks or there. But it still fits plenty of tools, rack screws/nuts, zip ties, server spare parts, etc for my application. If you're into a premium look and feel for your rack accessories, this 2U drawer is Perfect. I was hesitant about the swiveling drawer pull at first, but now I get a little satisfaction every time I have to poke it to spin the handle around. If you don't care about anything "fancy" and just want something that will get the job done, there are plenty of cheaper options available.

I purchased one to give it a try and it was so nice I've now purchased 11.The only (admittedly unfair) two complaints I have is that each drawer has a unique key with no apparently easy way to rekey them and the handles hide nice and easy but you have to make sure nothing is close to the front to prevent the handles from rotating in.The rails are smooth as silk. The drawers stay closed when shut. The steel drawers are sturdy enough to hold 3 large laptops without complaint (and anything else I have thrown in them) and the front is a classy brushed aluminum. These drawers are better than my expectations and it takes a lot to exceed my expectations. It almost makes me want to purchase another rack to fill with more of these drawers.

Read a number of reviews on various 2U drawers before settling on this one. Couldn't be happier. Build seems really solid, slipped into my rack perfectly. The lock is secure, although I doubt I'll use it. You can pull the key out, locked or unlocked, unlike some. The lid is tight, so nothing will fall out even if the rack gets flipped upside down. The handle is slick, unlike all the other ones out there, and the brushed finish is unique too. Great drawer overall.

Easy to install, sturdy, very reasonably priced. It comes with a nice rubber grid mat for the bottom. I like that the handle folds away, doesn’t protrude when it’s not needed. Comes with a lock and 2 keys. Perfect.

From the beautiful aluminum face plate to the feel of the slides, work well. Also like the drawer handle that can be hidden.

Got this drawer for my small server rack in my office. It's a good place to keep my electronics tools and accessories. Well built and very sturdy and I like the brushed texture on the drawer face. The handle swings in/out easily, as long as you keep its path clear on the inside of the drawer. It came with a liner for the bottom of the drawer to keep things from sliding around. That was a nice touch. Drawer slide moves smoothly and allows the drawer to open up fully. There is a grommet at the back of the door, if you choose to put a laptop in there. Lock works fine. Only thing that would have made this nicer would have been a cheaper price.
