Very good tool for the price. The insert it came with was not so great but I bought a box of insert from Amazon which work very well. I use it in my machine shop. Cuts anything from plastic to stainless steel and anything in between. But again it also depends how good your inserts are. Took itself is rigid has a good geometry and I can easily take .1000 to .1500 thou. Cuts, depending on the material.
