These were perfect, but I should have ordered more. I do voice recordings and needed some insulation to absorb outside noise so that I could get a clean recording. These are easy to install (I used multiple Command Strips for easy removal) and look good in the space. I will be purchasing more for the space.

This is the first time that I have seen triangular panels before. I'm not sure what to think as they are a little bit more of a pain to install, but they also give you the ability to customize your overall design to a much greater degree. The thickness is pretty much what you'd expect. The adhesive works well enough since they don't weigh a lot. Photos to follow.

These work pretty well. I rent a small apartment with thin walls and I've had to get creative with ways to reduce the amount of noise from my electronics. I've put these around my TV and underneath of my sound bar. I've also used them around my speakers to absorb excess bass. It's worked well and I've noticed a reduction in how the bass sounds.They're easy to stick on and they have staying power. Once you put it down, you won't be able to move it around. You'll have to rip it off. I know these will me a nightmare to remove in the future but for now, they're up. Part of me wishes I had put them on a piece of wood and hung that behind the TV, but oh well. Comes with a lot of panels so you'll really be able to soundproof your space.The best part of these is that they offer the ability to put a really cool design on your wall and you have options for how you set them up. Not as effective as the geometric cube like foam panels but these work well for your average person.

Pros: The panels have nice geometric patterns that you can link together to create almost artistic displays. They do a pretty good job deadening standing waves in a room with mostly bare walls. The self adhesive is very useful.Cons: Their sound deadening could be better. There's only a relatively small number of panels to work with, more like a sampler, covering for example three feet by four feet, or equivalent.Subjectively, this is definitely better than bare walls. Does a great job and blocking highs. If you need to acoustically 'dry' out your space these panels can help.

I got these panels in order to cut down on the noise in my basement wood shop. My basement is unfinished and inside my home with a pregnant wife and a toddler. Needless to say, noise reduction was top priority for me!The individual panels are thick but with a soft face, which is ideal for capturing sound waves. The patterns and color options are numerous, which is really nice. But in my case, I really didn't care about appearance since its a wood shop. I anticipate these panels with collect a fair bit of sawdust and will need to be hit with the shopvac, but vacuuming these panels will be infinitely easier than trying to vacuum egg carton foam!Its really hard to provide any kind of meaningful assessment of noise reduction without expensive metering equipment, so I am not able to provide any hard data on their effectiveness. But compared to the bare concrete walls that were in my basement, these panels definitely notably reduce the sound reflections and overall volume of the power tools that I use in my basement. My jointer and planer are especially loud, so I created an extra shield out of these panels that goes over those 2 tools in particular. So clearly the panels help.The price isn't terrible, but it would be nice if they could be purchased in much higher quantities to cut the unit price more. If you truly want to reduce noise, you need a LOT of these panels, which can quickly become expensive. I'd love to see larger packs offered and/or larger panels.Overall, these are a nice product and a useful and functional addition to my shop.

I really like these wall panels. These ones are dense felt material that are way better than the typical vacuum sealed foam panel crap being sold on amazon.The colors are nice, and I love the hexagonal shape. This is a much more aesthetic option and is far more professional looking in my personal opinion.I will be buying more of these to treat my recording studio and mixing area!

I have been purchasing lots of different sound proofing materials for an upcoming project. I believe that every sound proof product has its place even if it isn’t right for my application. I don’t think it is fair to give a product a low rating just because it did not work for MY purposes. With that in mind, I am rating all of them 4 stars unless I find a legitimate reason to rate them higher or lower. I am also not taking price into account because sellers can change their prices in the future.Important note: these are not square panels but two different colored triangles that make a square.I find the triangular shape of this product a bit odd, though it does make it easier to be creative as well as to create “softer” edges to the acoustical area being treated. It is also odd to offer it in both black and white in the same package, as some people might want all white or all black.I am assuming that this product will remain cost effective as it does not appear to be an expensive treatment. The panels are firm and do not allow for a lot of variation in the frequencies absorbed, but it should have a decent dampening or deadening effect. It is also going to be one of the most durable sound proofing materials and would work well anywhere that the public or lots of music equipment might be brushing up against it (aside from the white getting dirty).This would not be my choice of sound proofing materials, but it will work for others’ applications. Pictured as it was received, front and back to show the adhesive backing paper.Note: they are not very thick. They call it 24 pieces, but since they are half-sized it is only 12 square feet.
