As described. Works well. I like that it is not difficult to remove and replace the battery. The alarm can be set to play a silly tune, but the is very low. The alarm itself can be heard all over the house, which exactly what we were looking for. Appears to be waterproof. The only con is that it is set by little pressure, even after leaning on it a little and will scare you to death!

It's extremely loud which is good but to sensitive. If my husband even turns over it starts blaring.

This works well for my elderly mother and me hearing her getting up during the night. The biggest problem is I now realize there were no strap’s included to secure it to the bed. This results in “bunching” of the alarm itself in a knot under my mother. I also realize there were no instructions with product so I have just “winged “ it because I was in desperate need. Ok but could have been 5 stars of instructions and clips to secure to bed were included 😔

I suddenly became the caregiver to an elderly friend who has no family to care for him. He had a stroke & now uses a wheelchair. At nite he forgets he can't walk & tries to get out of bed. We tried the alarms that pin to his clothes. They mostly worked but sometimes his feet would be touching the floor before the alarm sounded to alert his night time home health Aide. But this bed alarm sounds when he sits up. It turns off if he lies back down. Plus there is the choice between alarm & music. Its worked so much better. The batteries have lasted longer than the other alarms also. Definitely the one to get.

We got this so I would know when my mom gets out of bed in the middle of the night. It works fine - I only have two small issues. The indicator light is WAY to bright (I have to wrap the box in gaff tape) and the music choice is really annoying. But, overall a good product.
