This item is fully metal, well made. I have broken 2 of the cheaper plastic ones in the pass so paying a little extra for a metal one was well worth it.

All I could find in the big box hardware stores were shower head holders that were mostly plastic. Yuck! Just what we need. Another plastic gizmo. So I found this on Amazon and it's perfect. Very sturdy and will last for years. Thanks!

We use a handheld shower head. If you leave the plastic ring In the.housing for the handheld doesn't fit right. I took the plastic colar out of the shower pice and it seems to work but it a little to big. The shower head want to move a little in. It works good just would like thinnerplastic ring to hold the handheld shower head a little.tighter

Glad to have a quality component. Slightly on the small side for my moen shower head, but works and does not leak. Wish they would include this with the shower head right off the get go.

I love my shower head and when the holder broke I was afraid I'd have to replace the whole thing. This holder fit perfectly. It is a snug fit but certainly not too tight. You don't want it super loose anyway. It is solid metal and a lot better quality than the original, which is from a big name, high-quality manufacturer. I am so pleased with this product!

I bought this item to replace a plastic shower arm holder that had cracked. I considered buying a plastic replacement, but decided to get this instead. Glad I did! This product is well made and aesthetically pleasing. The material (solid brass) is strong and hefty, the range of motion is much fuller (see image illustrating how far down the arm can extend). It seals perfectly with the accompanying gaskets--no need to use the teflon, though it's included as a bonus. Customer service is excellent too. When I contacted the seller with a few questions, he replied back within hours, and even offered to replace mine free if I wasn't entirely happy. I highly recommend this product and this company.

This holder was the answer to the issues with breaking-very high quality! I have an extra long metal, with rubber lining, hose and a reasonably heavy shower head. Kept breaking plastic holders (which are also less expensive, but why keep buying if they keep breaking). Love this one! 🥳

I being a woman had absolutely no trouble put it on. No tools needed. Had bought cheaper and couldn't get it to stop spraying so took a chance on a pricier one and very happy i did.
