Been in a box waiting for body and paint work to be done. Installed it finally and 5 times opening the tailgate the handle broke! Plastic junk! Do not buy if you plan to open the tailgate!

The assembly was machined a little outside original tolerances as the connecting rods became too long and would not fully withdraw the end catches and allow the tailgate to release. I had to modify some things to make the rods reach shorter than originally manufactured so the handle assembly would pull them in close enough to release the end catches. A 30 minute job ended up taking all morning.

Der Heckklappengriff sieht wirklich sehr schön und edel aus, das war es auch schon. Dadurch, dass dieser Griff aus Plastik ist, verwindet sich das Material und die Klappe lässt sich nicht öffnen. Lieber die schwarze Volleisenversion bestellen. 2 Sterne für die Optik, aber 0 für die Funktion.

It works okay with a bit of modification. Didn't want to release the gate until I modified it. A DIYer might get very frustrated with it.

Very disappointed. The clips were in backwards, so I had to try to take them out without damaging them to put them in right. The handle itself is plastic and the arms are metal but very loose and flimsy. It doesn't hardly work, and sometimes it doesn't. Very disappointed. I'm still going to have replace it so it will work right and not break. Save your money. Buy another brand.
