I use this for split shank flies to connect one hook to another and its super strong and adds some nice movement since the leader is coated. Cheers and tight lines

This metal leader material is great for making metal leaders the way you want them, the length, the terminal hardware you want. It is easily tied with reliable knots, and is much easier on the hands than single "filament" wire materials are. Additionally it doesn't get bent into permanent bends/crooks as single "filament" material.

It ties easily and stays tied. I use the 11 pound test leaser for bass, walleye and crappie in a lake loaded with Northern pike. It pays for itself through the lack of pike bite-offs. It's hard to tell whether I catch less fish, but that tells me it's probably not having much of a negative impact, if any at all. I use about a 6"-9" piece of AFW leader before my monofilament line. The package shows how to tie the knot to the bait. I use a double uni-knot for my leader-to-main line connection.

Have purchased this brand of wire before. I really like the small diameter and flexibility but it does seem to kink fairly easy and you can not get it out. Worth the money if you like to fish in an area where there are toothy critters that like to take you expensive crankbaits. CC
