A little more tightly coiled than I expected (about 3” in diameter or less) but nicely reinforced ends and the rest is flexible.

I had to give it one star, it deserves zero. The swivel fittings on the ends are junk. One end came apart when I tried to thread on my quick connect.Decided to keep it and put proper compression fittings on the hose ends. In the process, I discovered that it is not 1/4" ID tubing, but a smaller, apparently metric size. I measured 5 mm ID and 8 mm OD. With a little care and effort, the 1/4" fittings will still work. Now that the compression fittings have been installed, it appears to work OK and it will serve the purpose intended.Wouldn't recommend, and won't buy Amflo again.

Hose works great and saves a lot of space. No worries about "rolling it up" when finished ... the coil is very strong. I would recommend it.

These are my favorite type of hoses for the workshop. The other plastic hoses that are made of stiff plastic are junk, these polyurethane hoses are very flexible and durable and don't lose their coil memory unless you really stretch them out. The hose is very well designed with a durable strain relief at both ends (Most fail for lacking these). The price is excellent as well. I almost went with a cheapo from harbor freight but opted for these as they are much better quality for the same value.

I have this hose attached to the front of a CNC lathe to blow off coolant and chips. I would like the whip at just one of the ends to be longer so there is a little more straight hose before encountering the first coil, but it is manageable. The flow is a little weak because of the 1/4" diameter hose. If I had to buy again I would find something with a 5/16" ID. The hose has been on for about a month now, with constant pressure at 125 psi and daily repetitive use. I was worried about early failure at this price point, but it seems this hose will last for a very long time.

The first one i received had a kink and a small cut in it, not enough to leak but being it's a coil hose I was worried that it would cause a problem down the road so I returned it and actually had the new one before I was able to ship the damaged one back (thank you amazon). The 2nd one I received had the same kink but no cut I assume the kink came from the manufacturing process so I decided to try it and it works great. It doesn't recoil like the cheap yellow hose but is noticeably stronger and so much nicer than pulling out 50' of hose and then wrapping it back up.

Buy this hose if you are looking at the hard yellow nylon twisty hose. First, it's much more flexible and can be extended to nearly the actual 25 foot length. Try that with a nylon hose and it will cause it to get stress fractures. The little straight bits are also good at keeping the twisty bits from hitting your work, essential when doing painting. The swivel ends are nice, but they don't rotate easily with pressure in the hose, so it's of limited utility. You can twist them by hand, but it won't just flop around on its own.Only minor issue is that the coils are small and if crossed with its self it will often tangle. Just don't allow too many turns to happen while you are using it, like if you are walking around something in a circle.I'm buying a couple more of these.

Does exactly what it should without a problem. I replaced a standard 25' hose that was black with this because on the job site or in the shop the hose seemd to be a constant hazard (tripping over it or it getting wrapped around a ladder leg shut in a door etc.) The recoil keeps it tucked out of the way and the blue color, well let's just say visibility isn't a problem. Highly recommend this recoil hose and Amazon had the best price I found.

Hose works well in my garage. I use it for my air tools as well as my nailers. Reliable and strong, the black ends seem to protect the joints well enough. So far so good, definitely lighter and of superior quality than the rubber hoses I've had before. Will see how well it holds up in the winter, but I expect good things
