Like the bags, feel good and seems to hold up well.To pick a little.. wish the pockets flaps would over lap more. When you fill the pockets out. The flap is difficult. The bag rolls over and gear falls out.Just my experience.

Just what the headline says, the pockets are kinda useless so it's only good to hold rope. It's a definite return for me.

I'm using this bag for my pop up beach canopy / sun shade. You know the kind that has the poles with the bungee inside that allows you to collapse them and you fill the corner pockets with sand. So, I'm not exactly hauling ropes and carabiners up the face of El Capitan, but... I am using this bag to haul my beach gear and other items. There is plenty of room for the canopy, poles, sand shovel, etc. There are numerous exterior pockets with Velcro or clip enclosures. The bag has shoulder harnesses (like a backpack) but as another reviewer mentioned, the bottom of the straps are placed kind of close together. This isn't an issue for me since I normally just sling it over one shoulder and don't have to travel too far. Overall, it seems very well constructed. It did have a slight chemical odor that seemed dissipate after a while.

The bag topples to the left or right like bad. Its terribly annoying to have the bag flop around while walking. This is because the shoulder straps are way too close so its not ergonomic at all. It does not hold much maybe a helmet saddle and 50 ft rope in the main compartment. Its only abt 2.5 feet tall and 8 in mouth so its more of a secondary bag. For $39 not a bad deal but bag needs improvement

Fits everything from harnesses, boots, helmets, ropes, clamps etc. only issue is the bottom is soft and can collapse very easily. Would recommend putting a piece of wood or a more rigid material at the bottom.
