About this item

  • Mini Ice Cube Tray, Set of 3 - This set of small ice cube trays create mini ice cubes that are the perfect size for sports bottles, blenders, cocktails, ice coffee or simply for chewing/sucking. Each pebble ice tray creates 60 small, round-bottom cubes. Includes 3 trays (180 cubes total).
  • Must-Have Features - Each food-safe BPA free plastic small ice tray is MADE IN THE USA, dishwasher safe, stackable, reusable, durable and break resistant. Please note that the mini ice tray is made of hard plastic, not soft silicone and do not include lids.
  • Space Saving - The stackable ice cube trays are designed with built-in stacking lugs to help you conserve space in your freezer. Ideal for RVs and dorms. An alternative to a nugget / pebble / bullet / crushed ice maker machine.
  • Easy-Release - Easy to fill with water from the faucet, and empty cubes from the trays -- they pop right out with one twist. Top tip: leave the cubes on your counter for a short period, then place over a large container to neatly release all the cubes at one time.
  • Create Fun Treats - These trays can be used for more than making ice cubes for your cold drinks. Use them to store frozen herbs, garlic cubes, mini coffee cubes or baby food puree. They are also ideal for making hard candy, chocolate bites, and homemade dog treats.

Very nice, works great! The smaller cubes are just what I need for by small (USB charged) blender for single-serve smoothies.

I have frozen tiny cubes made of various things—from icy to creamy. All have popped out easily enough (some twisting required). And they freeze so quickly! You can use them to make teeny, tiny bite-size homemade treats. Sadly, one of the trays did crack while releasing some cubes. These would be even better if they came with covers.

I like the size of the ice (think nugget), and it freezes quickly relative to common ice tray sizes. The ice can be a little hard to release.I have owned these two years, and two trays are slightly warping because of my twists and turns to release all the ice. The third broke this week while I was trying to release ice.Part of that may have been due to user error. I like to get all the ice out, and I will twist/turn/bang until it is released. Also, I only remove them from the freezer about 10 seconds before I start trying to empty them. I may need to give them a bit longer.I will continue to use these until they all give out. Once they do, I probably will not replace with this exact tray.

I love eating ice cubes, and these are a perfect size for just that. Its easy-ish to get the ice cubes out as well, but it does take me 3-4 cycles of twist and smack to get them out, and even then I have a couple stray cubes that refuse to budge. Would be nicer if there was an option to get a bigger surface area tray so that I’d only have to reload and empty two trays instead of 3, since I can get through these small cubes pretty darn quickly

This product replaces a spherical ice tray that I was previously using. I love the spherical ice but it was an absolute pain to remove from the tray, plus I cracked all three of the trays. These produce smaller ice pieces than I anticipated. Still it fits the role as the smallest ice in my three tier ice system. The trays feel sturdy and durable. Overall the ice is easy to remove by twisting. There is minimal water spilling in the freezer. I can vertically stack two trays with my ice container and fit them in the top shelf of the freezer.

Nice cubes, but broke quickly. Disappointed for the price.

These cubes are the perfect size for iced coffee - will keep things cold and give that characteristic tinkling sound. The trays work best being fully emptied on one go onto a plate or big bowl and then immediately stored in a vessel with a lid (they’re small, so will melt together if left out too long). It’s also important to not overfill the trays, or your cubes won’t separate well.

Everyone that comes to our house loves these mini ice cubes. I have a container that I pour them into once they're set and every single day I have to fill the trays to add more to it. They are the perfect to chew on and not break your teeth and they fit into every single water bottle we have. They're super easy to remove, just twist a few times and if a few are stuck in the holes I just bang the tray on the container and they pop out

I was a little hesitant given the price of these trays ($6 each) but I really wanted smaller ice cubes for my summer drinks and protein shakes and these are absolutely perfect. Each tray takes about one cup of water to fill it. I know water expands when it freezes and yet I still over filled them a bit the first time. I stacked them in the freezer and when I pulled them out, the ice cubes from the tray below were stuck to the bottom of tray above - that just made it easier to remove them! The trays have a really nice surface - the water almost beads up on it. They extract VERY easily - I just gave them the slightest twist and the ice cubes knocked right out. I just received these yesterday and have already made two batches - I bought two 3 packs (so 6 trays) and I'm glad I did. I may actually buy another pack for freezing garlic, ginger and other herbs once my garden gets growing. If you are hesitating because of the price but really want smaller ice cubes (seems like a silly wish in life but so be it) BUY these.....they really are terrific and ultimately worth the price. The fact that I TOOK and included pictures means I really like them (and perhaps I have too much time on my hands )

These are the best ice trays in the world.. I've purchased them several times now. They make the cutest little cubes. You need more trays to get the same volume of ice as more traditional-sized trays. However, the tray takes about half the height of those trays so you can fit more in the same space.About Getting the Ice outI've ruined several trays by twisting them too far to get the ice out. What you need to do is alternate twisting the trays from side to side, a few times, not far (you can crack them if you go too far), then flex them back to front. That will get out 99% of your cubes, but there will invariably be a few cubes left in the corner or along the edge. For those you just use your fingers on the back of those cubes to shift the tray around it. I use to bang them out - totally unnecessary. Just press around those cubes, flexing the tray around those cubes, they'll pop out quick that way.About FillingFilling the trays was another long learning process. You fill them too high then they won't pop out correctly, too low and you're left with not enough ice. Here's what you do.Stack about 6 or so empty trays up and set them under your running faucet. Once the top tray is overflowing pick it up with one hand, right in the center of the tray. Now, using your wrist motion, alternate spinning the tray as far as you can in one direction, then spinning the tray back in the other direction. Don't do it too fast, just fast enough to spin the extra water off the top of the tray. It'll take maybe ten spins to get the water levels right across all the cubes. The water should come up to the top of each drop, but not go between the drops.By the time you're done, the next tray will already be full and ready to spin down.About FreezingTrays freeze top and bottom first, then in the center. In my freezer, a stack of six trays will freeze in about 10-12 hours. I can reduce that to seven hours by shortening the stacks to three high. I have about 15 trays I freeze in a stack of four or five, and I can get two sets of ice out of them every 24 hours, which more than fills up my ice bin.You could probably freeze them faster if you only stacked them two high, but I don't have room in my freezer for that.About CleaningIce crystals tend to collect in the bottom of the cells over time. Run warm water in the cells and rinse them out, bending the tray back into shape if it's bent from over stressing it while emptying the tray. If you do this once a month these trays will last for years.

I love these trays! Easy to use, Sturdy. TIP: Use lollipop sticks to stack them in the freezer because they have no stand-offs for stacking.Flexible Silicone Ice Cube Trays have their place, but I find them extremely frustrating for mini-cubes (time-consuming, messy, and difficult to remove the ice), which I use mainly for blender / blended applications, especially where I make slushies!! By the time I get the ice out, I am frustrated past my tolerance.I find THIS type of Solid Tray for Mini Ice Cubes can be Frustration Free !!! BUT you need to have a good METHOD for RELEASING the ice, or it can be almost as difficult, messy, and time-consuming to remove the ice as it is with a flexible silicone tray. So, FWIW, here's my method for releasing mini-cubes...1) Remove the tray from the freezer and let stand 5 to 10 minutes -depending on how warm it is in the kitchen. (This is the key.)2) Lay out a sheet of aluminum foil for catching the ice, generously larger than the tray3) Hold the Tray upside down over the foil, ...Grasping the ends and then gently Twisting back and forth. - Takes me about 3 twists to cleanly release practically all the ice -every time! - If any cubes are left, then holding the tray from one end in one hand, I gently smack it onto my other hand a couple times (over the foil-catch).4) Dispense the ice into your container(s) by Grasping the ends of the Aluminum Foil from opposite ends, Lifting up the catch, and pour~funneling (so to speak) the ice in a controlled manner. That's it.=========I used to run water over the icetray (top, then bottom) to try to achieve this same "releasing affect", but it never really quite worked. I would always end up wrestling (endlessly) with the tray anyway, lots of cubes not releasing, ...and by the time all said and told, some of the ice is cracked some melting ...just a messy disaster. And If you freeze mixed juices in these mini-trays, releasing ice the old way ...losses are even worse. Doing it my new way -its smooth sailing every time, and great manageable frozen cubes all down the line. Now, I never have a cube left behind, a half-melted mess, cracked cubes, ...and I never struggle with the tray. ALL the ice remains whole and hard until I use it or get it back into the freezer (in a baggie). Very efficient, and very easy.To be honest, I didn't think it was possible to overcome the struggle factor with mini-cubes, hence why I posted this. Maybe it will help someone else ;^)
