I bought this with a pinch of scepticism wondering if it would actually work for me. My new subwoofer system had been rattling, shaking my bedroom floor and most importantly, disturbing my neighbours as well as anyone sleeping later in the night. After some brief testing by walking around the house with this in place, and my subwoofer blasting, I can confidently say it reduces leaking low frequencies and cleans up any subwoofer rattle. It works! I am now able to play my music, or play games, a little comfortably louder at night without the fear of keeping anyone awake because of the rattling. The quality of the product is alright, but it essentially is a bit of wood and some foam. It's a rather simple, but very effective product. The value of this is really depends on how you'd use it. If you're living in a flat/apartment and want to prevent complaints from your neighbours while effectively allowing you to increase the volume more, I'd say it's worth your money in the long run. It has quite a sleek look, I appreciate the simpleness of it. It fit under my desk perfectly and took up barely any space at all.Overall, I rate this product a 9/10.10/10 for sound clean-up and leakage prevention7/10 for pricing... again it's just a bit of wood and foam, but they claim they have a high density foam that isn't quite like other brands. Whether that's just marketing bs or not, I have no idea. But I don't want to test it out either because this still works for me.

My downstairs neighbor constantly complained about my watching movies because the sound would travel through the floor into her unit. I'm very conscious about not disturbing others, so I had always set my movies to a low volume. Even others in another room in my home could not hear the sound. I even set my subwoofer to its lowest setting. But still, the loud frequencies are hard to block and travelled through the floor to disturb my neighbor.Enter the Auralex AmpDude. It's thick foam and unobstructive design looked great. I immediately set my subwoofer on top of this thing and tested it out. The bass was definitely dampened. However, realistically speaking, it was not a magic solution. The bass would still travel through and rock the floors if the bass was turned up enough (and not even very high).Go into this with realistic expectations. It helps decently, but it won't eliminate all the sounds from travelling through floors and walls. Overall, I'd still buy it again, but it's not the best value for the money. I still use it today years later.

I was skeptical first but once installed under my sub which happened to be sitting on wooden floor before, boy oh boy the difference it made. The lows are so tight I can really crank up my sub now, no bleed over into the floor or walls whatsoever. This thing is so worth 50$, just get it, it will last a lifetime and will improve your lows drastically.

Prior to purchasing this product, I had to deal with a 400W subwoofer that crawled on the floor whenever it was in use. Having some knowledge about sound-isolation mats, I decided to give this one a try. The pad is large and sturdy and strong enough to hold my 35 pound sub, And upon Installing the pad under the sub and putting the speaker back through It’s paces, I was surprised to see it no longer walked, the objects around it did not vibrate and displace itself on their surfaces, and most importantly I was able to crank it all the way up with no distortion from rattling. Definitely a recommended product!

I bought a more expensive isolation stand on here that got rid of 80% of the rattle that my subwoofer was emitting. Still even a slight rattle is super annoying. That stand combined with this pad make the sound perfect and got rid of 100% of the rattle. I have not tried it alone because it was just easier to slide it under the current set up with the equipment set up.

Bin rundherum zufrieden. Irre.

I use 2 subs and suffer from quirky room characteristics that cause placement issues / considerable room gain. Because of the former, I'm somewhat restricted in where the subs can be located.Looking for solutions to these issues, I came across this Auralex products and thought it's definitely worth a try given it wasn't a huge investment and the isolation platform looks inconspicuous compared to room treatments which look unsightly. The product is well finished and barely visible at all once installed.I'm sure you want to know about the sonic impact, so i'll talk a little bit about that. All i can say is this simple product makes a huge amount of difference to the bass produced. I re-ran audyssey XT32 calibration and the results for the two subs had completely changed. There was now very little level difference between them and the distances had reduced, to almost exactly what they measure (audyssey added 25% to measurements to account for room and phase issues) The low end - 22hz and below - is much tighter and cleaner, and has now stopped rattling the walls whilst still retaining that low-end room pressurising bass. The mid-range bass - 25-40hz - is warmer and richer. Overall the sound is more articulate and less flappy, with a smoother crossover / roll-off towards the 60hz point (where i cross my fronts)In summary, this product is fantastic, Remember that the frequencies where a sub operates (below 120hz) is at the mercy of the room characteristics, so room correction becomes crucial. Audyssey helps, but it can't work miracles so If you are struggling to place your sub / subs and/or have limited options, give Auralex a try.
