It works as advertised and is very fun. However, it only seems to hold a charge for about 20 minutes and the toy itself comes apart very often (every time it runs into a wall), so I have to fix it every minute or so. I ordered one from a different company that was like $5 more but lasts for hours and doesn't come apart, which I think is well worth it.

This is a good toy and my kitty likes it, but if it isn’t being played with, it goes quiet. That makes it hard to find. It does hold a charge, but it’s not active enough. It would seem perfect if we hadn’t found a much more active one with a brighter light and keeps working intermittently when it’s not being played with, which makes finding it easier than this smaller one.

This toy is really entertaining. I'm not sure if it's more entertaining for my cats or for me watching them play with it. Pressing the button starts it in the basic 5-min mode. It started rolling around really quickly and immediately caught my cats' attention. They stared at it, as cats do, observing before taking action. They took turns chasing and batting it and settling down and watching it with wide open eyes. It appears to randomly reverse directions and sometimes bumped into the cats making them jump. The ball is about the size of a golf ball and has a rubber surface. The plastic bracket that attaches to it with the tail can be removed. The rubber tends to attract dust and lint, but it is easily cleaned. You also have to remove the bracket to charge it. I'm only using it while I'm around in the 5-min mode rather than leave it on automatic mode. It can potentially get stuck behind furniture if there is not enough room for it to move around so I want to keep an eye on where it ends up. It's a fun new toy for my cats.

Our cats are almost four years old, but they were attracted to this toy as soon as I opened the box. I had accidentally pushed the power button and apparently the soft buzzing noise was already very interesting. I let them follow the ball around for a minute or two while I read the instructions on the side of the box (very tiny print, but I could make it out with my reading glasses). I like that you can put it into two different speed modes and a 'smart' mode which not only turns it off after 5 minutes, but allows it to restart if the cat bats at it. I also like that it is rechargeable (cord included). I put it on the slower setting in smart mode. Our cats are pretty inquisitive, so I wasn't surprised that they enjoyed following this toy around. What did surprise me was how focused they were! They did not lose interest after 5 minutes like they often do with their other toys. They continued to follow it around and when it got 'stuck' they would pounce and bat it back out. In fact, I think they liked it best when it would get caught somewhere and they could 'hunt' it! I decided to limit their first session to about 15 minutes and then gave them another 15 minute session later in the day. Wow! They still love it and when I pick it up they are totally engrossed. I definitely recommend this cat toy!!

Just yes....as a cat owner of a chunky boy who is also a lazy boy a lot of cat toys are either a hit or miss for us. This is a huge hit for out cat. Immediately he jumped up and became curious and this little thing keeps him entertained for many hours. Comes with a usb charging cord and we acrtually haven't charged it yet and he has used it for well over 3+ hours and it's still going strong so the value is solid here. Our boy loves the snake style toys like in the video the blue thing attached came along with two other attachments for cat enrichment. It also came with a smaller yellow snake one as well and like I said that's a favorite in this house. He likes feathers but the snake things...its game over if it has those. The movement of the toy is very realistic since it appears to move unexpected without reason and acts like real prey perhaps in the wild. Either way it has gotten our boy moving around and I would highly recommend for anyone who has active or even none active this is just one of solid cat toys which us cat owners know not all are but this I can tell you is. Do yourself and kitty cat a favor and add this to cart you won't regret it!
