This baby mat is not only pretty but it's also a good size. The material is soft and my babe seems comfortable on it. We have hard wood floors so the non slip side is actually quite nice. It's easy to spead out and put away as well. It being machine washable is a bonus, especially with little ones.

This is such a pretty play mat! While it isn't paper thin, it's not thick and plush either. But it does provide a bit of cushion for baby, rather than the hard floor. There is some grip on the backside so it stays in place. It is a good size and easy to clean. The price seems pretty on par with other similar play mats. You can't go wrong!

There are several things I like about this play mat. At 50"x50" it's a good size. The fabric is soft and there's a enough cushion to provide a little protection against hard services like a ceramic or hardwood floor. The grippy material on the back keeps it from slipping around. Finally, it's machine washable and you know if you put a little person on it that it will need to be washed. Wash it, let it dry and fold it up. All in all, this is a nice mat.

This play mat is really pretty. I got it to use for picnics and as a pretty mat for under where I paint and do art. I think this would be fine for a child outside, but my flooring inside is too hard. This mat would not be soft enough for my flooring. It is practically concrete. It is however, very grippy. I do think it will stay put if a small child is on it. I think if a dog was in the mix they could potentially get it to move around. My bf jumped on it and it moved slightly, but he didn't slip.The current price is $29.99. If you're just needing a clean surface or a tiny bit of extra padding for a baby to play on then I think this is a nice mat. If you are looking for something VERY cushiony, then this is not the mat for you.
