The powder doesn't have a pleasant smell. But I guess this is one reason why it attracts the critters to eat it. Dubia Roaches are also attracted to the food so if you feed your bearded dragon with dubia roaches the lizard will find them at the feeder dish eating it. So it can be used to gut load them for your lizard.I used 3 TBSPs of boiled distilled water to 1 part powder. I used deeper bowl and a whisk because I had no luck with a fork. Once I finished whisking I poured it into a flat square container. The reason my food is in clumps is because I tried to whisk it again in the square container. Next time I will do a better job in the round bowl before I transfer it to let it set.

This Bearded Dragon Food gel mix is a huge hit with my bearded dragon! He absolutely loves it, and I feel great knowing he's getting a premium, complete diet. It's fantastic that it's made in a US FDA facility, ensuring high quality and safety. The fortified formula has definitely contributed to his healthy skin and overall vitality. It's easy to prepare and makes feeding a breeze for both juvenile and adult dragons. Highly recommend for a nutritious and delicious meal for your bearded friend!

Full disclosure, I don’t have any Bearded Dragons. So why am I reviewing bearded dragon food. Well, because I have Sugar Gliders. I got this because the ingredients were perfect in a lot of ways for sugar gliders. And the formulation would appeal to them. Sugar gliders eat a lot of fruit and saps, but they also need protein which they largely get from insects. This is great delivery system of proteins, essential calcium and minerals for them so I made it and cubed it and fed it along side their fruits, vegetables, and nectar purées and let me just say, They LOVED it. Did I love it? Not so much.It stinks to high heaven! It smells AWFUL. Now they sugar gliders think it’s the best thing ever. They pick it up with both front paws and shove it in their little faces. It must taste great but the smell is just… the worst. The good thing is the bag is going to last them forever. The small amount I made out of a tablespoon lasted my sugar gliders 3 days of feeding so it’s a great value for them and I really like that it gives them something to do It’s solid so I can hide it around their enclosure and let them sniff it out. It has a lot of variety in that way. I’m definitely going to get it again for them when this runs out. The bag is so large though, It’ll be a while.I’m really happy to find a great option for another protein for my sugar gliders.

Bearded Dragon FoodIt's easy to mix and gets hard quickly It doesn't really "gel" up though as it says, it just hardens up and is mushy. My big girl apparently is picky because she has not touched it yet but hoping that will change.

I have a 6 month old beardie. He is so very picky and only eats crickets and sometimes mustard greens. This was relatively easy to make tho I wish it had a bit more specific directions for mixing. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast this firmed and settled I was thinking it was going to be like jello and take hours. It only took like 20 minutes from start to finish to be able to feed. And it does smell disgusting but it’s not a huge deal. Idk what’s in this but my beardie absolutely loved it I was extremely surprised he gobbled it all up. My one and only complaint is I do wish they had info as to how much to feed your dragon for how old/big they are as idk how much to give him but I just let him eat until he would no longer take it. If the ingredients list is true, this gives me peace of mind knowing my beardie is getting all the nutrients he needs since he is so picky.

I received this Snappy Critters bearded dragon food for review, and I really appreciate this gel mix. You can easily mix it yourself with precise measurements, which is a big improvement over pre-made tubes. This allows for better portion control and significantly reduces waste, as any mixed food lasts up to two weeks in the refrigerator. It really doesn’t smell bad, which is a plus. You get quite a bit of the mix, making it very economical, and my bearded dragon genuinely likes it! It's also Made in the USA, which is a plus.I know it looks kind of weird, but it truly is a good option

My beardie....Buddy...is basically an adult now and he has grown to be a picky eater. The guy doesn't enjoy too much greens, sometimes will eat superworms, doesn't like mealworms (don't know how he can tell the difference), loves dubias and grasshoppers, and will tolerate the occasional banana. I've tried pre-made foods and pellets and all that and I have to say, it's hit or miss....with mostly misses. HOWEVER, Idk if they put beardie crack in this but he was going to town on this one. He is spoiled so he needs to be handfed but he was like a machine....just kept chewing and swallowing. If your beardie is a pick eater, I'd give this a go. Highly recommend!!Update: I can say with certainty that there is beardie crack in this. He is now eating the food with no care for his own safety…banging his head on his dinner bowl with each massive bite. Definitely ordering more of this.
