I have two of these mini's. One is used at my business and one in my house. The main thing I like about these mini's is that it let me get rid of older dust breathing under the desk PC's and have small mini on my desk. They run super quiet and are pretty powerful for Non gaming type work. These are not gaming computers although you could run simple games on them if you wanted to.On the mini I use in my office, I am running 3 monitors and 3 printers, so this thing can do work.

This thing is a dang good little machine. I've been using it to run some servers for modded minecraft and gmod and have had no issues with stuttering or anything. Ran windows on it for a while to mess with it and it ran some older games and indie games just fine. Opened it up to see how the internals were and if I needed to upgrade the ram or ssd it would be pretty easy to get to.

Excellent mini computer. Exactly as described. I have given it 4 stars because on installation it there was an issue with a video driver not being able to be updated and giving an error message. I contacted Beelink support through Amazon but got no reply. Eventually I figured it out myself, went to the Radeon website, downloaded and installed the driver myself.

I was skeptical at first, because it was so tiny and less expensive than others. However, upon receiving it and getting it all hooked up, I could not be happier. It runs smoothly, even when doing heavy workload tasks. It’s a bit noisy because of the fan, but it’s better to know that the fan is working than have it burn out like others do. It has loads of memory for everything I need to put on it and looks great on my desk. In all, it was a great buy and I would happily buy it again if needed.

Out of the box this thing had issues. I decided to drop a Linux distro on it for testing, grabbed a USB drive dropped Ubuntu on it, booted from the drive, installed Ubuntu with additional drivers, no problems, went to boot the first time, just a black screen after the Beelink splash logo.Booted into recovery mode, was able to get into Ubuntu, HDMI sound would not work though pipewire was running normally, and I checked for updated AMD drivers ,none available, and got tired of messing around with Ubuntu, and decided to slap Windows 11 on it just to see if I could get it running and all of the hardware working.First attempt at installing Windows 11 made it to the security question portion before video out from the device completely cut off. Gave it a few minutes powered it off, opened it up and made sure everything was seated properly. No noticeable issues.Windows install was hosed, so I started over, made it to the update phase of the Windows 11 install, and the same behavior, video output died, the machine ran for about 3 minutes, then powered itself off this time and rebooted. The Windows 11 install was fully hosed again, and so I sent this junk back in for a refund. This was my first and last Beelink purchase

The Beelink SER5 Pro is an excellent choice for my small home lab server. Its performance has been reliable for light tasks like running virtual machines and testing applications. While the included RAM is sufficient for basic workloads, I plan to upgrade it for better multitasking performance. Based on the research, this was the best for my use case which was small homelab setup.Storage isn't a concern, as I use a separate NAS, allowing the mini PC to remain efficient without additional storage upgrades. Overall, it's a compact, budget-friendly solution that's perfect for anyone starting with home labs or needing a capable, space-saving server. Also it is quite under light load.

I just bought this computer on a Black Friday special. This will only be used for web browsing, photo editing, and light office/PowerPoint/Excel use. Here are the first impressions.Price: This was marked down to about $250 and that price made it any easy decision. It packs a punch in processor power and RAM and of course has a quick hard drive. You couldn't build this computer for the same price as a motherboard and the CPU alone would cost a similar amount.Size: As seen in the pictures this is a tiny little computer. It's actually perfect for use as a "desktop computer" because it can easily sit on the desk or be mounted behind the monitor. Monitor mounting bracket included.Aesthetic: I find it to be very pleasing, the build quality is solid, finishing is good, and it looks nice with a shiny gloss finish.Noise: There appears to be a small fan inside as I've heard it come on, but if that's as loud as it gets then it's very quiet.Software: This wasn't listed anywhere on the description so I assumed I would need to install my own, however this came with Windows 11. I just logged into Windows when it was initializing and it installed and downloaded some of my programs.Ports: This has an HDMI and Displayport in the back. If you have an monitor that only has DVI or VGA inputs there are converter cables that will work. It also has 2 USB 3.0 ports on the front and back as well as a USB C port on the front.Power: I haven't measured power consumption but I can safely assume this uses less power than the older Desktop Tower I was using, even though this is faster and certainly more powerful.I haven't used this long enough to know how it will hold up or how it will handle more intense processing, but unless you're doing video editing or heavy gaming I don't anticipate any issues. The single core speed should be fast enough to handle Photoshop or similar programs.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase, it's super small and clean, doesn't clutter the desk with cables (only power and monitor) and is much faster than expected.
