So this is a great product for touching up your gearshift it’s very sturdy and very well-made and very nice to look at. It can be a little troublesome getting on the first time just because you kinda have to sew it on, but it’s very simple. Takes about five minutes and then it’s permanently finished. I would definitely purchase this again.

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion, and my shift knob is made from some kind of rubber material that over the years has started to become soft and if I hit it just the right way with my nail pieces of it come chipping off and it's also a bit sticky, which is annoying. I had no idea the solution actually exists so when I found this product I was pleasantly surprised. I'm glad I decided to give it a try. I'm a crafty kind of person so the fact that this product needs to be hand sewn into place didn't scare me, and even if you are not a crafty kind of person with no sewing experience whatsoever, you still shouldn't be afraid of this. It's just a few stitches and it's easy to do. Personally, I found it easier to do the stitching with the shift knob in the neutral position just to give myself a bit of extra space in the front. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I'm really impressed with the fit. So far I have not seen it come loose or move around in any way and it seems like the product will have a long life. In addition it looks really sleek and honestly looks like a piece that was made by Ford specifically for the car. I would definitely recommend this product for somebody who is looking to cover that annoying rubber shift knob. Not only is it so much easier but obviously also much cheaper to leave the original shift knob intact and just cover it up. I highly recommend this product!

Fits like a Glove! After 9 years with my 2013 Fusion, the shifter knob was looking a bit rough.I actually like the feel of this cover more than the stock shifter and wish I would have tried something like this much sooner. It matches the stock leather-wrapped steering wheel while the stock shifter was pretty basic.I appreciated that the kit included 2 needles and a ton of extra leather thread length (Could sew on 3 - 4 of these covers). While sewing the stitches, I used the second needle to pick at the thread to tighten the stitches.The leather string is more than sufficient for flexibility & strength, and the punched holes are positioned well from the edge of the seam to prevent tearing. Simple stitching side to side with ties on top & bottom and came out very clean.The only difficulty was because of the vehicle design with visibility onto the backside of the shifter. Although I do appreciate the seem for the knob cover is on the underside to give the cover a clean appearance.

Material is a little cheap and you have to sew it yourself, but all-in-all I'm happy with it.
