As another reviewer mentioned, it does take quite a bit of time to cut the plastic letters, numbers, and symbols from the strips containing them, but it makes it cleaner than if you were to just try to snap them off of it.Also, it would be nice if the cord had an On/Off switch, that way you could leave it plugged in and just turn it on or off manually instead of having to plug and unplug it.The LED light strip seems like it was starting to peel up when I opened the box, so I might have to add some glue at some point if it keeps doing that.Overall, this thing is okay, but I wish it was a bit brighter, had an On/Off switch on the cord, and I wish the frame and light strip was better quality.Also, a storage bag or box for the letters would be nice, especially if you wanted to keep them separated by color.

I ordered this because I wanted something different to put on my wall to display. The look is very small and it does feel pretty cheaply made. The black lights themselves are absolutely not visible if there is any light in the room. Which also means the lettering does not glow unless it is Pitch Black. I will just go back to using my standard white letter black baseboard.

This is so cool! I LOVE the glowing letters that light up with the help of the black light. There are PLENTY of letters, numbers, emojis, symbols and punctuations included so you can express yourself anyway you please. The letters come in green, orange, pink, and blue to allow extra creativity. The letters hold on to the black velvet backing easily and stay on securely. This is a really cool bedroom addition for your preteen or teen, a marquee for your theater room, a statement piece for your office, or just anywhere really! Love this fun blacklight felt letterboard.

I love the black light effect of this board, and the felt and wood are both solid and well-made. It looks fantastic and is perfect for displaying messages.The letters, however, could be better. They feel a bit cheap, and I didn’t enjoy having to remove them from the plastic sheets. A few letters were broken upon arrival, and snapping them off left sharp edges that needed filing. For the price, the letters should have been ready to use and packaged in a small organizer box. Despite this, the board itself is excellent, and the black light effect looks great.

Letter Board characters come as four intact sheets, one in each color of blue, orange, pink and green.Cutting them free from support plastics does require an initial time investment but it helps rid the tiny nubs left behind if each character is simply twisted or snapped free from the plastic frame.No pouch or storage bag is included for the letters and symbols. (I wound up purchasing a bead organizer to keep the letters and symbols from getting lost.)Blacklight is powered by pre-installed USB power cord, no battery or outlet block is included. I used my own battery (not included) to power the board.The black felt is really nice, not thin, not cheap. The recesses where you push the letters in are snug and hold letters straight and firm.Size is small but perfect for my business needs.The blue doesn't really glow under the light, pink looks good but in my opinion, orange and green look the absolute best!On the back of the board is a gold, sawtooth hanger, firmly screwed into the wood frame. This is a SOLID, well built felt board!The blacklight LED strips are installed within the frame with the power connection coming out the back side.$26.99 at time of review seems a little expensive for not including any type storage solution for the letters, not even a plastic bag.Deducting one star for that oversight.Aside from that tiny flaw, I love this board, it's beautifully constructed, solid wood connections at corners, lots of letters and symbols including emoji, punctuation, and numbers.But again, no storage option for all these little bits and pieces.
