I use this hoof stand daily. Very durable and adjustable height. Room around base for all my horse hoof needs.

I found it works best with larger feet (not ponies) . Was not secure for smaller hooves. Great for prepping / training horse for the ferrier, applying medications to the bottom of the hoof, or light trimming. Light weight may be a pro or a con depending on your needs.

I love this hoof stand. It is a little pricey, but worth it because it is so easy and light to move even when I'm under the horse and need to reposition it. My OTTB likes the shape for his foot and the fact that he can lean a little on it when he needs to rebalance.. (he is 20, so this is an advantage at his age). I wish it had a magnet for the rasp to stick on and be easy to grab, but I'm managing fine without it. The stand is very stable and easy to change height. Basically a great hoof stand. Would buy again, but I hope this one will last me so I don't have to do that for a long LONG time.

Liked that the hoof cup and post were together, eliminating the need to stop and switch.

I researched these for a bit before deciding upon this one (which was purchased to replace a home made one) and have been well pleased. It is both lightweight and stable - easy to move and adjust, but, yet, also stable for use. The rotating head for filing and nipping is nice (vs replacing or flipping). We only have 4 horses and went to a hoof trimming class as it seemed like it was a struggle to get a farrier out on a regular schedule. Our horses are barefoot (no shoes) so this works great. I think I would have to add a magnet if we used it for shoeing, but that would be relatively easy and inexpensive.

Two things I love about this hoof stand:1. Despite being extremely light-weight, it is also very stable due to its wide base.2. Obviously, the big selling point, no changing heads when you bring the foot forward. One minor downside to the single piece model:It's a bit hard to rasp the edge of the foot resting in the side with the cup when you come forward. The best solution is to turn the cup toward the back of the foot you bring the foot forward.

Have used this on my quarter horses and my Tennessee walkers at first I thought it was fairly light and was skeptical but has proven to be very useful and very durable easy to hold with one hand and position while holding hoof stationery nice non-slip top and fairly decent adjustments overall well worth the price would recommend
