I’m a little disappointed in the movement of these things. They claim that they are “swim baits” but when dumped into a bucket of water they just seemed to lay there. I got them for the kids because I thought they would require less care than goldfish.

Hooked these up to a 1/16 oz jig and literally first cast I got a nice little crappie. Wasn’t a big slab but I def caught those right after!

I have caught, bass, crappie, blue gill, red ear, pumpkin seed, yellow perch and a nice channel cat with electric chicken color. If I could only have one soft body bait this would be it. Even when worms aren’t working this works.

They catch fish. Absolutely.Yesterday I landed 12 fish with these curly tails fished on a 1/16oz jig, a mix of 8-10" bluegills and some similar bass, in about 1.5 hours. I was aiming at the bluegills.Hard to find fault with that.Every single fish, bass and bluegill, trashed the tails. Not one lasted more than one fish and several were simply torn off by fish that didn't hook up.5 stars for catching minus one for quality control.Tip. Keep the bodies because bluegills will hit them in the spring. Trout might find them interesting in a stream environment.Fish them like a grub on a jig.I do the same with Yum Dingers (senkos) after bass trash them. I cut 1 inch pieces, then slice them horizontally to create 2 flat sided grubs. I fish them flat side down, for the slow fall, on a 1/32 or 1/16 oz jig.
