So the top is pretty unique (for body boards) with the turle print on the one we got.The board size is good - 41" is a decent size for average adults and larger kids.The board is very light weight. I guess this is nice from the standpoint of managing the board. However, based on my experience with other boards I'm worried that this one is not going to stand up to adult usage in waves of any larger size. Its going to snap. So - having said that, haven't had a change to put it through the paces yet. But we will be keeping the kids on this one to try to make it last. Feeling the strength of it against other boards we have (for similar or not much more) - this one just isn't going to have the strength. Nothing internal either to help stiffen / protect it. Just a chunk of foam.Should be great for kids to play in the surf!

My kids are growing so I wanted to get them a larger Boogie Board. I picked this 41" board basically because I liked the picture. The board is standard construction with a polyethylene core wrapped with a thin material on the top and a weaved material on the bottom. This is the same construction of the 31" boards they have and they used those for two beach seasons so it should last.I gave it 3 stars only because this board I received should not have passed quality control. In the side views you can see one side the top and bottom material merge perfectly. On the other side the black bottom material is stretched and pulled apart. You can see the core material through the stretched weave.I am afraid it will come apart after a few uses.Otherwise it is a decent board.

The string that connects the board to the leash broke after one use. I bought a longer and one meant for a surf board and now it is fine.
