Definitely quiet and safe to bounce in the house, but don’t expect it to last too long. We just threw it away as it was beginning to break apart and leave bits of foam everywhere. It was never used outside, always indoors and on floor rug. We won’t be replacing it with another.

This is a great ball. It’s small enough for toddlers but large enough for older kids. The foam is compact enough so that there is a nice bounce, and it’s sturdy enough to kick and endure other play activities without pieces falling off. Highly recommend! I’m ordering more!

Soft, and just right for game playing with the Littles. Bounces just right. No one can get hurt. Just good old fashioned playing going on with this ball.

This ball is about 21 1/2 inches around in size. I like that it is quiet and dense enough to grip well yet soft enough to squeeze a bit.. It does bounce a bit but not very much. Keep in mind that, being foam, it shouldn't damage furniture but it is firm enough that it will knock over things or can hurt if thrown hard into someone's face. There are a few issues - there is a hard little lump sticking out of the bottom of the ball. It is small so not sure what issue it could cause but just mentioning that it is there. Also, there are a few griddle like marking in some spots of the foam. Overall, it is a decent ball with a few issues.

Our toddler loves his new orange foam ball! He is 14 months old and is learning to "shoot" and throw a ball, and this soft foam ball is perfect for him to hold securely in his little hands. He cannot catch yet, but the texture of the ball is wonderful for helping him maintain a good grip on the ball so he can learn to catch and throw the ball. He loves the bright orange color. We believe he thinks it's the same ball that his 15 year old cousin shoots into the basketball hoop! This ball can also be bounced. It's soft enough that it won't break anything even if it goes flying around the family room. It even hit our Christmas tree with no damage to anything! Great ball.Update 1/18/2024: After about one month of continued use, the "film" that was on the outside of the ball has worn off and now it's just, well, foam. It doesn't have that smooth look that it used to have. The ball is still usable, but just not as attractive.

Just as it reads, this is a high density foam ball. It seems like a good size for young children; it is easy to catch, and SOFT. It is somewhat (but not very) bouncy. How can you go wrong with a ball?With that said, the headline advertises this as being “…. for Babies….”, but the included tag warns that it is not suitable for children under 3.The brand name is a little tacky, too - sort of a slightly sticky decal.We also discovered a little hard plastic bump on the bottom, which is probably a product of some kind of a mold. The bump, however, is a little bit sharp. Be sure to check for this and file down if you think it might be an issue for your child.Overall, a decent ball - but a little high priced for what it is.
