This is exactly what I needed to convert a vintage brass lamp with a giant lampshade and harp to a much sleeker, updated look with a new smaller shade. The new shade needed a smaller harp, which is hard to find in local stores, and this harp fits the bill. I found the cost rather high for such a simple item, but I suppose it's a case of supply and demand.
