Man I love this board. This guy might be my favorite in a long time. It's sturdy sure, it's like other high-end boards, but when you're dropping in and trying to pull up the nose on a hard right, it slides right into the line like butter. It has just the right amount of flexibility, and even at 5'4" 170 pounds I can slide all the way up on it and really dig in and pull the rail for carving. Another feature I really like is the shape of the board on the front corners. There's a shape that feels like a handle, a feature that makes sure you know your hands are on home plate. It's easy to hold, even if you're walking out and backing into waves. I've never seen a feature like this before but I won't use a board without it now that I've had my hands around it.What blew me away the most about this was when I let my son ride it for the first time. He has a high end board as well, a little more floaty, and he's a beginner, but you could tell he preferred the maneuverability of this board over his.Surf location: Far Rockaway NYC. Water temp: About 70. Swells, about 3 feet consistently, but I wouldn't hesitate to take this into something a little higher, or ride it little colder.
