My class Motorhome steps were sagging with weight and usage on one side, springy when stepping in and out, can’t be good for the steps. This is sturdy small and adjustable, worked in the driveway and camping spot. Supports the step solid, no movement

If your RV steps do not have stability that touches the ground, you need this to ensure your steps last. Easy to use and adjust. Just remember it is there when you go to leave because it will block your stair from returning to under your RV. Very sturdy and good for the price. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy steel construction! I only purchased one of these and it gives solid support as long as you be sure to plant your foot on the middle of the step! Would work better in pairs, placing one under the right side and the other under the left side of the step, thereby eliminating any wobbly feeling!I attached some adhesive grip pads to top and bottom of the brace, since it is smooth metal and will easily slide around. The height adjustment is easy, but the screw design turns so easily that I have to frequently make adjustments during use. All in all, it does the job without breaking the bank. I will order another brace before next camping trip!

Bought this item for our RV to give the bottom step a little more support, the step brace does just that. It is now firm and feel definitely more safe and supported going down the stairs.Just remember to measure your step before you buy it. They come in two heights and I unfortunately ordered the wrong one and you cannot exchange or return it. But we made it work by sticking a piece of wood on top of it for the extra height we needed.

This works great and really stabilizes the RV steps. The only drawback is trying to expand the height while it is under the steps. You have to rotate the upper flat plate to expand it but there isn’t a lot of room under there to do that, so I can never quite get it expanded completely to touch the steps. If I put the movable plate on the bottom, it’s not much better as it is hard to rotate the plate when it is burrowing into the ground. So I still have a tiny amount of give when I step on the steps, but it still works great to stop them from going down too far with pressure. Overall still a great product for the price

Seems sturdy enough but needs to be anchored. Also, it spins down if u use the stairs too much. Needs a locking mechanism once u find the right height

It does what it is supposed to do... stabilize the rv step... But DO NOT FORGET IT IS THERE BEFORE THE ELECTRIC STEP RETRACTS... It can easily become a SCRAP A STEP... SO I made myself a DANGER sign to put on my steering wheel so I don't forget to remove the save a step before ever starting the RV...

When I first saw it in the box I was surprised it was smaller (base plates) than I thought it would be. I was only concerned about the measurements of minimum and maximum height to accommodate the stairs. I'm overly happy to find it's small, light and will pack away easily when traveling. It supports the stairs very well and I'm a big guy. I know this will not break. I would buy it again in a minute. I also sprayed the threads with WD-40 to keep the threads from rusting and seizing.

I purchased these to put under our questionable step going into our camper. It seems like the step is just really worn and has been stepped on one too many times. It isn't broken but just seems like it's pretty worn out and needing some extra support. I originally purchased one and put it under the step and noticed that it helped a lot. The only problem was with one under it then the ends both seemed kind of weak and I wasn't sure if it was going to bend the step more. After purchasing a second one I am pleased to report that now the step is working great. The supports work so well and I think people could benefit from them even if their step isn't showing signs of wear. I think it would help in maintaining the stability of any free standing step going into an RV. We keep these in our camper and tuck them under the step anytime we set up camp. The quality seems very good and they're holding up very well. Great product!!

This is a game changer for trailer stabilization. I didn’t like the way our metal steps wobbled when anyone stepped up on them, but I didn’t realize how much that shook the rest of the camper until we got this. It’s incredibly easy to install/ store, you just twist it up or down until it’s the correct height to support the bottom step. Very sturdy, we have our RV parked in a leased spot this year and have people running in and out constantly. Small price for a huge payoff in stability, wish we had gotten it right from the beginning.

So I bought a cheap(ish) bureau about...two years? ago and slowly, slowly, the middle of the bureau began to bend in the middle so that at first the corners of the left and right sets of drawers would scrape, but then after two years the bowing was so bad, I'd try to open one drawer and as many as three other drawers would open with it because of all the drawers overlapping in the middle where the sagging was. I hated to think of spending hundreds of dollars more for a new one, so I started thinking about solutions. That's when I thought about getting a brace. I kinda didn't know what I wanted was called a brace, I just had the general idea of what I wanted. I'm not exactly sure what I typed in Amazon search to find this, but I am so glad I did! It is a nice hefty metal. Pulling out drawers is supposed to be pretty uncomplicated, and before this brace, I found myself leaving drawers half open, because shutting and opening them had become super annoying. Several weeks after purchasing this, I can pull open one drawer, and have only one drawer open! This is adjustable, as it indicates, and I have had to adjust this three times already, as the boards of the bureau straightened back into regular shape. It "spins" smoothly and appears to be very sturdy. The bureau isn't extremely heavy, but it's still over a hundred pounds when full and this brace is more than capable of holding it up.I'd definitely recommend this to people who need an adjustable brace. The only thing I would note is that it is a little difficult to "extend" the brace once in place under something because there is nothing to grip. It would be ideal if there were a little knob or something on the underneath to grip and slowly rotate to increase the height as desired. But, all in all, a good product that does exactly what it is supposed to do!
