The CAMVATE 15mm Rod Shoulder Mount Rig for DSLR is an adjustable dual handle system that lets you position handgrips at desired height, angle and distance. The rig features with 15mm LWS rod clamps for follow focus and any other accessories, and also many rosettes which allow you to adjust the rig in almost limitless positions. Its spring-loaded knobs lock and control the rig system easily and quickly.

The build quality and feel are spot on - well above its price point. However, as noted by other customers, the rosette plate screws loosen causing a small amount of play in the handles. Although logically, there isn't any immediate risk, when that wiggly handle has $3500 of gear depending on it - it's a bit unsettling. Other users report that using Loctite remedies this issue. Another small gripe is the angle of the handles aren't 100% parallel - it's very slight, like OCD-only noticeable, but when you're rigging out your camera, you tend to be OCD-ish. This isn't a serious problem and I quickly forget about it after I'm rolling. Bottom line, it has a solid build, which is nice for the price point, and it's getting the job done. Dogbone extensions may be helpful too.

Very sturdy grips, and I'm not having the problem of them being lose when applied to my BMPCC rig, as some people have stated in previous comments. I'll be buying another of these soon for my new BMPCC 4K rig. Great quality for a fair price. And the red alloy matches with all of my other red alloy-coated gear. Nice!

The materials are a nice solid metal, and the grips feel good in your hands. My only disappointment is that no matter how much I tighten the grips, there's still some wiggle and movement on the handle, which can ruin your shot when the handle wiggles. I also wish the handles dropped down even lower, but I knew they were pretty short when I bought it. Good entry level handles for a shoulder rig otherwise.

Used with a 35 lbs Arri Alexa build and they worked great. After 2 days of use the rosette mounting screws loosened on one side but after some loc-tite I haven't had any issues since.

Great construction and finishing. Fitted perfectly on my 15mm carbon rods. The grip feels good on the hands.
