This was one of those things that you pick up and throw it in your car and could be a long time before it's ever needed. The first weekend that this was in my trunk I got stuck in an area where there's not a lot of other people around to give you a hand and in the shovel was worth the price of admission.

This is a must have for anyone who does a lot of lonely backroad or highway driving. I personally believe that everyone should have an emergency kit in their trunk just in case. This kit is great quality and comes with everything you might need to get yourself or another motorist out of a jam. I highly recommend this product, it’s a must-have!

This kit has pretty much anything you would need for an emergency, but you trade quality for volume. The individual items aren't bad quality, but they're not the highest either. For example, the shovel is great for an emergency to dig out around your tires, but I wouldn't do anything very heavy. If you plan to store this in the trunk (as you probably will), you'll want to take the glass breaker out and keep it in the glove compartment or console -- it won't do you any good if it's out of reach. And don't forget to put batteries in the flashlight (you'll probably want that in easier reach, too).So bottom line, this is a nice emergency kit, just make sure you go through it before you need it, know how to use everything, and put things in places that it makes the most sense.

This kit has everything that you need in it, and it comes in a nicely packed case. It includes jumper cables, a tow rope, a first aid kit, a tire gauge, a flashlight, and a safety hammer with a belt cutter, work gloves, snow shovel, snow brush, poncho, and warning triangle. I got this for my daughter who has small children, and in our cold, snowy, freezing WI weather, this is definitely a much needed kit . Everything is compact and easy to store. My daughter and I both feel better knowing she will have this emergency kit in her car. The price line is extremely reasonable.
